There's a lot of stuff there's no hard evidence for (worm holes, for instance); it doesn't mean that it's wrong.

I don't really know very much about all of this.

But sometimes when I'm in the supermarket, and all I want is a tin of tomatoes, and there's 20 people in the way, I do tend to think that there is far too much in the way of flesh.

If we were just little lights floating around the place, there would be far less congestion at the supermarket.

ONLY TRUE FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE ONE...

And that varies greatly as a spectrum of great or poor souls....

Or somewhere in the middle...

Not much different than any other spectrum...

Or bell curve..

There is science here for the taking...

What is "television"?

Is it an electronic box that displays encoded RF signals with a matrix of multicolored lights?

Well, yes.

But it is also decades of creative content, growing exponentially. A medium that has shown us images of things previously unimagined. Humorous sitcoms, classic theater, informative and manipulative news, education, idle brain candy, one of the major industries of the world that gives millions a way to live and express their lives, it's lifetimes of family unity, it's precious monents of romance between lovers, and sooo much more.

So I also ask, are humans just robotic meatbags, merely surviving on instinct?
Or is there a currently unmeasurable "signal" being decoded and projected through the biological device we call our bodies?

Did gravity exist before Newton?

I think aspects of "soul" and "spirit" are properties of the universe that we have just plain not scientifically discovered yet. maybe something happening on a sub-quantum or extra-dimensional level of the universe. Science has not discovered anything close to what's really happening. We may think we are sooooo freakin advanced here in 2014, but in 3014, 21st century science WILL seem like leeches & witch burning. That won't even be the pinnacle of scientific knowledge. What mankind knows in 12014 or 52014 will appear as pure "magic" today.

Just because you can't measure it, does not mean it doesn't exist.

And even though the material identity labeled by my proper name will cease to exist when this container expires, something will persist and move on to inhabit another material container with a fresh, clean memory and a new identity.

ok now who's gonna attempt to prove we are merely instinctual meatbags?
Who is so attached to their material identity that they refuse to see beyond matter?
Who is handicapped and unable to perceive 96% of the universe?

Thankyou Babybird I am actually laughing aloud. But you do realise that even if this was so the light presence in front of you with a moths worth of shopping would still not allow you to go in front of them with your one tin of tomatoes. That is why I like Aldi the checkout light presence actually tells you to jump the queue

I love Aldi too

It's a pitty they don't do home delivery.

There is evidence, it's just introspective in nature, and thus can't be scientifically tackled.
