well that would certianly suck I worry more about the threat of the Silent treatment. not being able to talk to her would is far more mentally damaging to me then sex. I've never been in a relationship involved sex though. but if you as a person want to cause me pain the best way is to just ignore me for a while. It really hurts, causes depression and drives me crazy. I really hope no good gf would do it to me.

You can call any kind of "get even" an act of passive-aggression. But the point isn't what the woman is doing. What I am wondering is what kind of effect does it have on the psyche of her partner?

Well, he would probably look for someone else to fulfill his sexual bonding needs.

If they weren't that bonded, he would, but if they were, I think he would be beyond devastated.

Yeah, he would be totally rejected. That would suck.

The guy could get back at her by cheating on her, and doing another woman ( a hooker if need be). So he gets his needs met, AND inflicts emotional pain/payback on her in one act. But a woman cant un-rape herself. So the balance sheet doesnt quite balance.

So they are not equivalent.

If there is a male 'equivalent' of being raped it would be-.being raped- anally- by other men. Or that seems to be the unspoken consensus among most people.

Or just being sexually assaulted by a woman...

I think if the woman is an attacker, then the best equivalent would be if she had anally violated him with a broomstick or broken bottle, or some other God awful object. There would be no misunderstanding that this is a violent crime against the opposite gender meant to humiliate and demean.

wait so the only way a man can be raped is anally ? that's dumb so if a woman drugs, ties up, beats a man then climbs on him, thats not rape? If anyone woman has sex with me when I don't want it, its rape plain and simple.

Unless a man believes such a sexual assault hurts his relationship with another person, having a female attacker on top vaginally isn't going to have the same trauma as an anal assault would, both physically and psychologically. In fact, I suspect many men would see the woman on top attack as sort of fun - even if it's meant to be or not. Plus, I have never heard of a woman "raping a man" vaginally, but anyone, regardless of gender, doing such a crime to a man with dangerous objects has happened, and is devastating.

So you're envisioning a woman giving a guy - viagra? Spanish fly?- in his sleep- so he gets an erection-while he is still asleep.

And then she mounts him?

Its not a very common occurance, but I supposed that that would have to be called 'rape'.

Would the guy feel as violated as a woman being raped would be?

I dunno. Possibly.

Are you joking? Most folks dont consider a "woman sexually assaulting a man" (whatever that even means) to be equivalent to the other way around.

Question 1:How could a woman 'sexually assault' a man?

Question 2: how could she do it in a way that would be as traumatic to the man as rape would be to a woman?

You gotta help us to imagine this.

You know how to use Google, don't you?

It happens plenty.

Oh and whoever said that women don't vaginally rape men, there have been several court cases where this has happened, with the main argument for the defense in one case being that a woman is incapable of raping a man, and in another that the man could not have been raped because had an erection while they (yes, it was a group of women gang raping an ex) tied, tortured, and burned him with cigarettes. Granted, it is not as commonly seen (or reported), but it most certainly happens.

I must admit, I actually hadn't known that.

It was Walrus's job to do the legwork of backing up his statement. Not mine.
But thanks for doing his job.

Years ago I saw a case dramatized on TV about a gang of girls gang raping a guy in retaliation for him raping one of them.

It happens.

And occasionally a human being bites a dog too.

Not sure what that proves either.

you don't hear about it cause people like you would say its not rape and laugh at them, so why would they come forward. also it happens a bit in work place, the boss threatens the guy if he doesn't have sex. wither you are a man or woman if its unwilling its rape. IF a strange woman Claimed on me and tried to have sex with me I'd be horrified. none of it would be fun. so should a woman only count as being raped if she feels it hurts her relationship? so a single woman is ok to rape?

you have very horrible ideals. unwilling sex is rape. no is no.

I think you answered yourself. When you began your post you made reference to "making love." the next reference being as "having sex." Realizing that there is a huge difference between the two might go a long way toward resolving your issue.

Yeah but the girls in that show were idiots. They were all bunch of jerry springer show types. And the guy'victim' didnt seem to mind it that much. It was not an effective way of inflicting 'revenge' on him. Bizarre stuff happens. Its still bizarre.
