Buffalo National River. The only time to have peace and quiet in Park land is to go in the winter.
Tourists don't like the cold.Anyway the hiking is better then, most of the ticks are dormant and you can see the rocks and bluffs better.

I thought most liberals were green. Why would they live in an area that destroys habitat and causes pollution.

Living in a city has made me a lot more green than I used to be precisely because it is in your face a lot more. It is kind of sad that so many in the country take it for granted and don't seem to give a sh*t about the environment because they don't see what is happening.

And I live in the city because I cannot afford not to, not because I prefer it.

That was about how unhappy the families were about it, not the couple themselves.

Maybe Liberals live in urban settings because we are more community minded and care about each other than Conservatives who only care about themselves

When was the last time a family never had an influence on a marriage?

Hmm, I am thinking probably not. How many people in the city know their neighbors names or help someone on the street when their car breaks down, etc?

Mine don't. The vast majority of them were pretty pissed that I was marrying a Polish Catholic, and it caused a lot of friction between me and my family (but not between me and my wife). A lot of them no longer speak to me over it.

Overall, I think our marriage is the stronger for it.

That's been my observation.

Wow, that would put a lot of strain on most people. You two must really work well together. Weird thing is I tend to like girls who are the the direct opposite of me politically and religiously. Must be an Autism thing.

My wife and I do tend to disagree on many political aspects (although not drastically on most issues), but we are miles apart on the religious front. We both do well in discussing the differences rather than arguing them, so it works for us. I think our very strict no name calling rule probably has something to do with it.
