Is it misogynistic to be against Radical Feminist?

Apparently Tumblr has an infestation of some brand of unhelpful feminism, I'm not sure if it's specifically Radical. I've seen quite a lot on Facebook, although I think it's gone a bit out of fashion in my friendship group after some of them crossed the line and managed to completely discredit themselves by launching a campaign for someone cut one of his best friends out of his life for making a poor taste joke in a Facebook status comment.

Uhh someone isn't nessisarily a radical if they are an anarchist, communist, vegal or animal rights activist I don't think.

Its the belief the person has that makes them a "radical". Not (what you might think) whether or not they throw bombs in the name of the belief.

Some of those creeds are radical. Some are only radical if taken to the extreme. In a capitalist society - a Communist IS a radical. The "radical" symbol in math is that thing they draw around a number to get at its "root"- square root, or cube root. A political radical is some who wants to change the root of society-like abolishing private ownership of industry (communism). So a "communist" would be by definition a "radical".

I suspect that these "radical feminsts" are just bogeymen.

I meant "bogey women"!

Or...men can be feminists... I mean "bogey men AND women".
No..thats too wordy. "Men" can mean either gender-but NO-that would sexists ...

The most ironic part is that those who love to "toss arround" the term tend to be extremely sexist (and misogynistic) themselves.

I don't think it is to be against radicals in my opinion. I'm against radical anything in general, because radical to me implies that they will do insane things or say insane crap to get their point across.

I dunno. you're prolly right.

I notice a lot more verbiage complaining ABOUT radical feminists on this site than I see radical feminism. But I dont frequent every corner of WP, and aside from WP I dont do alot of social media. Decades ago I was aware of Andrea Dworkin. But more current radical younger generation extreme feminists are not on my radar screen.

Did cross swords here on WP with someone I wouldnt call a "radical feminist" so much as a "myopic feminist".
I and others were giving advice to a guy on the dating forum. And I talked about how men and women differ- in essence- about how men dont have to worry about being gang raped by women at night-but how the opposite is not so- and this young lady just tore into me about my "badly observed" conclusions that the two sexes actually differ in any way.

There might be some rad fems on WP but nearly not as many as on Tumblr and some cases Jezzebell which on that site says its ok the beat your man for not doing what you want hence encouraging abuse towards males to get your way! Sexism abuse and bigotry goes both ways but is encouraged to be abusive towards males in order to encourage female empowerment!http://jezebel.com/294383/have-you-ever-beat-up-a-boyfriend-cause-uh-we-have thats right if your man doesnt do what you want him to do just beat on him and emasculate him!

For aspie men who are unable to get into a relationship, well, that isn't a bad thing after all.

For this and other reasons, I would advise to not to get married, ever, for practical purposes in cases like this. Marriage may be equivalent to slavery, and that goes for both sexes, wait.... women may have a bit of advantage in this.

Amen to that everyone can be oppressed not just one gender it is reality I am sick and tired of one or the other being ignored on this matter and at the same time assuming oh the male is the oppressor even a male not in power who is stricken with depression and wanting to commit suicide is this same male still oppressing women? I dont think so he is just as screwed over as everyone else he is powerless and oppressed like everyone else!
