hmm
Cellular energy takes me to molecular biology
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK26882/
Reminds me of when I studied botany and we covered ATP and mitochondrial DNA.

Cellular activity is precise, love isn't
Unpredictable cellular activity (as in tumor growth) is not desirable yet love is :?

You cannot love without the energy from your cells. Your entire existence is dependent on it. When your mind engages in an emotion, energy is the underlying factor. Chemical reactions are happening but they need energy to happen. So, you express your love words and commit your love actions which uses more energy. This is how you create the Love Energy.

Tumor growth is an unfortunate expression of energy. Love can be fortunate or not, depending on other factors, other energies, that is

With tumors, you want to deprive them of energy and we all know what happens when they are deprived. The tumor dies.

The most important point, here is; in regard to Love as manifest of energy;

Love is like any other 'muscle', as far as energy and manifestation of energy.
as matter 'FORCE'; use it or lose it, most definitely applies to the 'Love Muscle'.

For those who want BIG LOVE MUSCLES; 'they' find some KIND of 'Love Gym', and attend
as much as possible. And for those with 'little love muscles'; 'darkness' is not a place to stay.

The only thing one takes 'with them', is the Love they create, and give, in energy and matter
they leave behind; generally speaking, 'LIGHT',
in terms of spirit of emotions,
and material, as mass ACTION
FORCE.

Perhaps that is only in measure of family,

friends, arts, and such as that.

But yes, there is more; MUCH more;
and for now, I will leave it at that; with Smiles..:)

Love never fails.

I like that.
Almost makes it sound as if love has a mind of it's own...

It is when I make a conscious choice to do something I would not otherwise do (i.e. extend my boundaries)
to benefit another person. :D

So love doesn't come naturally?

They're empty words without meaning. New Age drivel that is supposedly has this 'feel good' factor but it don't. It has no meaning to me...

Do chemical reactions happen because there is energy or does energy need chemical reactions to express itself. Bit like the chicken and egg question really so I don't expect an answer, more my pondering materialized into words.

Not all uses of the word "energy" are New Age. oooooAnaoooo's post aligns with biology. You really can't love or stay alive without energy from your cells. When your mind engages in anything, whether thinking, feeling, or carrying out routine stay-alive functions, energy gets used. She's right and it isn't new agey a bit. Chemical reactions happen because there's energy and that energy ultimately came from what we ate, as she said. It's chemistry. It's biology. But it's not woo.

Yep, ANA for the second time in a Month I am going to agree with you. Mind you I am expecting your explanation to expand from the purely chemical into something far more esoteric.

I bolded and Italicised the bit that caused the New Age flashback
So I googled for inspiration and found this instead:

Quote:
Scientists studying the physical nature of hate have found that some of the nervous circuits in the brain responsible for it are the same as those that are used during the feeling of romantic love – although love and hate appear to be polar opposites. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/scien ... 76901.html

Which is really interesting actually.
To me anyway...

The Bible never was my thing but that don't mean to say there's no wisdom in it.
Are you read-up well enough to know if there is an explanation for hate in it?
Cheers 8)

I don't think there's an explanation for hate in the Bible, only advice on how to deal with it.
'bless them that curse you,do good to them that hate you'
(I think it was Oscar Wilde who also said there's nothing that annoys our enemies more than doing good to them !)
