if its the news yeah they seek out any and all possible violence. violence gets high ratings. happy news gets low ratings. more ratings = more money. the news isn't the news anymore its just like any other tv show. use to be they just told the news ratings be dammed, but those days are long gone. now they'll put out false information in the name of getting any information out first.

if people talk about red cars every night does that mean red cars in in the rise? or if they talked about a seeing single guy poop in public for weeks does that mean people pooping in public is in rise? or plagued by people pooping in public.

news as i said goes for ratings. people get so focused on the news. you can have one event and talk about if for weeks months or years. doesn't mean its a plaque. if there was a plaque of violence surely the gov would declare martial law.

reality is most people will go through their whole lives with little to no violence besides maybe a fight or two.

Yep, the news. Anyone who watches it is aware. They don't seek it out, it happens. If no one were violent, they wouldn't have any violence to report.

Look at all the people affected by 9/11 just in one city. It's more than you realize.

Pick any historic period the crime rate was higher.

What we have is 24/7 news driving views for profit.

Most crime is senseless.

Louisiana has recently captured three serial killers. It hardly made the local news as two were Black men who killed Black women, and the other was a Homosexual that killed men he had sex with.

Before that it was a white guy who killed old white people in their homes for money to go to the casino.

New Orleans has up to 400 murders a year. Almost all Black on Black, and almost all connected to drugs.

It was worse in the 90s. Over the last twenty years maybe 8,000 dead.

Mexico is trying to top Iraq and Syria. Per capita, Honduras is the killing fields. Places I went out drinking in Sula ten years ago now run with blood. Columbia is much worse.

All of South America has always had a higher murder rate.

America does have a crime problem, it is flooding over the southern border, and spreading through the Black community.

The civilian ownership of guns is forbidden in Mexico. See how gun control works.

LA has Latin gangs, mostly illegal, and they are mostly killing each other over drugs.

They are not buying fully automatic guns here, but they have them, and rocket propelled grenades. My gun store does not even have hand thrown grenades.

Some Latin gangs have several chapters in every State. They have military firepower.

The problem, Liberals love little brown people, and think of themselves as Uncle Tom's Cabin. They are going to help them to freedom, from a dozen murders in Mexico, and give them shelter where they can sell drugs.

Liberals are so good hearted they would throw a festival for the Hells Angles and the Banditos. That is what thy are doing, opening new drug sales areas, and leaving it to the gangs to sort out.

We do have a drug problem, a murder problem, but it is rooted in our idiot problem.

Now the idiots think the answer is disarming the law abiding gun owners, because they are White American Males?

It is like slaves. Legal property, a large investment, that some idiot decided to take.

Countries that have a Civil War do tend to have a second one.

So you have decided that you do not like the Constitution, and you and some friends are going to change it, abolish it, and make up your own laws. You are declaring yourself an enemy of The Constitution of The United States of America.

Treason takes several witnesses, we have that, Giving aid and comfort to an alien invading power, we have that, Publishing Seditious literature, we have that.

My advice is make a run for the border before you get caught, but do get a visa, because without one Mexico will jail you for two years before trial.

30 years ago you wouldn't have heard about a mugging in a different state or a bomb in china. violence hasn't increased they just seek out all and any violence to put on the news so they can keep it running 24/7.

they do to then send out reporters all over to seek out violence stories. they have people in all states to watch and let them know when it happens. if they didn't do this it would only be news and probably small news on the local news outlets. good news doesnt' sell. bad news sells like crazy. show a panda being born and no one watches talk about a lady that stabbed he ex, for years and people get glued to the tv. why is that national news? 9/11 was national news. a murder in another state is not national news. or it shouldn't be. that lady that killed her baby. thats aweful but why does that one case get so much publicity? because ratings, ratings , ratings.

anyone that is smart doesn't trust the news. they don't even bother to tell the truth most the time anymore and stopped issuing corrections. use to be they'd wait and make sure it was accurate before putting news out now they rush in and as its happening spew lies and what they think is happening. remember how the guy used a ar15shotgun in the navy yard shooting.

then again according to the news there's only one gun in existence and its a ar15. use to be there was only a ak47 but guess all those got converted to ar15s right? any time there's a robbery, shooting, mugging etc, they say its an ar 15. no agenda there. nope not at all.

What you forget is first the crime must happen - then it gets put on the news. In that order.

why i don't care what happens in new York or china. it don't' effect me. though as the fbi shows crime national is down. its up to those cities to deal with their crime problem. not me on the other side of the nation. nor should i be punished for what some gang member does in.

i'll just deal with what the fbi says as they spent the time to collect the data. I'm not going to use up huge chunks of my life to gather all the data and study it. there's no point.

are the crescent-shaped, 30 round magazines ok. I have a bunch of those. or are the in cohorts with the 40 round one. if so we may nee more man power.

also if they going to call them assault rifles I think we should pass a law that says any rifle called an assault rifle should be legally made into one and paid for by the gov then given back to the owner. mean it only seems fair if they going to call it something it's not that it be made into that. ie refit all simi auto rifles to be select fire. or more easy just remove that full auto laws. don't believe anyone with a $20,000 assault rifle has or likely will do a shooting.

sad those people died, also sad there is no way to stop these types of things. you can't predict if or when someone will snap. most people will never snap but they can. anyone can snap. Obama could snap tomorrow and try to nuke russia. he probably won't but hes not free of the possible of going crazy. so how do you prevent something that could happen to anyone at any time. none of the gun control laws proposed would stop them.
