Fur: Former "Top Model" contestant opens fur store
As difficult as it is for me as an IT security nerd to pin down where this ranks in terms of generalized evil, it's not in the better 50%...
Killing any carnivore is dangerous to the majority of animal populations wherever humans or any other creatures do so. Losing wolves really messed up the Yellowstone basin for quite some time, there were no large scavengers to keep herds and trout schools healthy. Fox/mink scarves or rats everywhere, take your pick.

Also, Werner Herzog's "Happy People - A Year in the Taiga" is a great documentary.
On that I agree. Reindeer herders and furtrappers respect nature though, what need does a supermodel have for killing?
Well, one of the points made by the trappers in that film is that not all of the trappers respect nature. Some of those guys trap out of season and don't care that if you kill a mother before it can raise a brood, you have less to trap next year.
Also, it's apparent from their comments that they have been over-trapping sable.
Ah, it's been a while so I'll re-watch. It seems it's all too easy to discount those who steal game from native hunters and trappers. It happens with commercial fishing even more. Royal Greenland Akamalik is a promising example to the contrary however...

And they are little s**ts too. Evilest little beasts you will ever meet. Anybody who has ever met one would gladly wear their pelts.
Why?
They are particularly vicious killers, and generally just mean and nasty.
I suppose i was making a reference to how only the cute animals seem to deserve attention -- but we used to have a mink rancher not far from my home.
I know a guy who was a TA for an animal husbandry class at the university. They went out there to learn about raising animals for fur. He said some fluffy-headed blonde girl said something about them being so cute - then crouched down and waggled her finger through the wire of the cage.
And a mink latched onto her finger and bit down hard. And would not let go. They ended up strangling the little beast to death trying to pry it off.
Remember, they're related to the badger for a reason
I love them, but yeah, it's like dealing with a wild nile monitor. Respect the cute, don't be swayed by its adorable beady little eyes. Cute things are evil.
