Well, thinking logically is not anti-aspie, however, thinking machiavellian is though.
Not necessarily. Being an Aspie doesn't necessarily mean that you have a conscience. In fact, I think that having a conscience is a huge part of the handicap. An aspie who decided to take a dominant stance toward others and had contempt for morals would be a different and, frankly, more dangerous animal from the poor folks who end up with a diagnosis.

Possible. Some of those people are cold and corrupt. Nixon really comes to mind.

Nixon wasn't cold. His wandering out to talk to the protester's pretty much proves that
in my book.

He also was quite cold in his concern for civilians and his hatred of his enemies is quite noted. He is a very crafty politician who is willing to use anything to his ends. This is his conversation with Kissinger:
"Nixon: The only place where you and I disagree ... is with regard to the bombing. You're so goddamned concerned about civilians and I don't give a damn. I don't care.
Kissinger: I'm concerned about the civilians because I don't want the world to be mobilized against you as a butcher."

They're also convincing and manipulative, which is how they get into office to begin with!

So, I suppose that you'd advocate a non-democratic form of government then? Even the
lotteries of Florence were corrupt though. I'm not sure that government is possible without corruption.

Well, this is why we drag corrupt politicians into the street for public view, for they make lovely tree ornaments.

Only the stupid ones. The smart corrupt politicians stay in power.

It has been suggested that Calvin Coolidge was. Very cold and aloof, not talkative. One woman met him and told him she had made a bet with her friends that she could get him to say more than two words to her. All he replied with was, "you lose".
