look how little the population rose between 10,000BCE and 1800AD.

Wasting sperm wasn't really the issue, hygiene and advances in medicine and technology were far more important.

It is not like we needed encouragement to procreate.

God will start smiting the planet - eye for an eye- killing one adult human for each, and every, sperm cell ever expended to no purpose!

Well, my wife and I are practising Lutherans, and we both indulge in "self abuse." And Lord, oh Lord, we do it in front of each other!
