"When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat." -- George Carlin.

American politics is nothing but a freak show! And as long as they can keep us divided, nothing will change. Murdoch, the Koch brothers, and all the other power elite are laughing all the way to the bank.

This thread is a textbook case of trolling.

Did you say the same about the Trump is an ass and Carson is an ass threads or is it trolling just because it attacks (to use the term loosely) democratic candidates?

Trumps a populist animal. The rest of the politicians that I know of are just puppets looking to sit comfortably in their careers besides Bernie. Hopefully he can get elected and at least get the ball rolling to get us off this track to hell that we're currently on.

Probably not but it's high on the list.

You're a real piece of work, you know that? A real piece of work. This is a prime example of why I will never identify myself with the Left - you have the audacity to say I'm trolling when there is thread after thread calling the Republican candidates asses? Are you for real? I actually made this thread as a funny - ha-ha and I see what crawled out of the woodwork. You people on the Left can dish it out, but you can't take it. Someone on the Right says something that gets your panties all in a bind and the whole world comes to an end. You're the freaking troll, dude.

And now I'm going to pull a "Democrat" by not answering any of your questions. It's just too bad I don't play golf.

I just lost all respect for you, Angela. You're no better than my brothers.

It doesn't surprise me now why you were shown the door at AC.

That was a low blow, Mr. M, and very hurtful, but if that's how you really feel then I'll just have to live with that. I guess that means it's ok with you to make fun of someone's NTness then. That's the difference between you and I - I would never think it's ok too make fun of someone for being Aspie. I'm much better off without your respect. Now I know what kind of person you really are.

I don't make fun of anyone, NT or otherwise. As a matter of fact, I've pretty much gone mute not only with my brothers (they all told me go f!ck yourself when I visited them to wish them happy holidays), but with my housemates also (especially the jerk in the den, who's started stealing my food again, since he was fired from his job for theft of food and money.)

In short, I'm a dour, sour PA German, who no longer cares to be bothered, after 58 years on this stinking rubble heap they call earth.

And you, Mr. M., are probably the worst of them all. To come out and say what you did to me is unforgivable. I treated you decently like a friend, supported you and answered any of your health questions that I could and you come back at me with the crap you said? I don't give a damn about not having your respect - you can take your respect and shove it. I catagorize you as being in the same bunch as Harrison and Judge - you're all just a bunch of bullies. You don't deserve to have any good friendships or relationships with the way you treat people. You may have hurt me today, but I'm not hurt anymore. The real truth of the matter is that you don't deserve my respect. Don't ever talk to me again.

American politics are a joke... wait, scratch that, politics in general are a joke. I support Bernie since he's the lesser of two evils, in my mind. Trump is a delusional, attention-seeking narcissist who flip-flops his expressed opinions on things in order to appeal to groupthink. He said he was a democrat years ago, now he's presenting himself as a neofascist feeding off people's anti-Hispanic and Islamaphobic feelings. I don't know if he's sincere or if he's trolling, but either way, I hope he doesn't become president. In fact, it should be a law that successful businesspeople shouldn't be allowed to go into politics, as there is too much potential for corruption and corporate lobbying.

On the Canadian side of things, Justin Trudeau is an inexperienced idealist riding on the tide of his late father's name. I did not vote for him because I did not want to support the Trans Pacific Partnership; the only party which opposed the TPP was the NDP. Our country may as well be going to Hell in a handbasket, but at least when Justin legalizes marijuana, we'll all be too stoned to care.

Yes, I just railed against a politician on the far right, and one on the far left, but I don't consider myself a moderate. What I do consider myself is a human being who thinks that the conventional political spectrum is screwed up, and wants to have no part of it. I like the left's ideals, admittedly, but they don't seem to have a good job backing it up and actually delivering results. Likewise, the right seems to be good at delivering results, but unfortunately the ideas they follow through with tend to be regressive and ultimately rather sh***y for anyone who isn't a straight, rich, white, Christian male.

Justin Trudeau should go back to being a stoner snowboard instructor, and Donald Trump should enlist in the airforce if he really wants to prove he can do something about ISIS.

Also, don't forget, this is a site populated mostly by a socially oppressed minority, many of whom rely on left-wing government services and welfare to survive. To put it in simpler terms, WP has a largely left wing bias. Also, I've been off my medication for the past few weeks, and I've been in a rather manic, ranty mood. Keep this in mind, as my arguments may be inconsistent.

I'm no centrist but I don't condone en-massé partisan flame wars. Don't you realize that right or left, all these candidates are wasting your lives stressing you out enough to scream at your computers? Obama's making me spend my state taxes on holding Guantanamo prisoners when I never voted for him because I know how to spot lies (quite a big part of my job actually) - that b!tch of a prison on stolen Cuban land tortured a schoolteacher and still kept going under bipartisan rule. I didn't opt Gary Johnson for cheaper weed, I did it because innocent people are to this day being robbed of their rights to fair public trials. Fat lot of good a gun will do for you if you get dragged out of bed in a bodybag.

Trump's not rich enough for my standards anyway if that's the measure of a man for you. Can't you wrap your heads around the obvious fact that if you want big money in power, a Rothschild is the way to go? Too bad for you guys they're Jewish. People centuries ago knew damn well politics isn't a family business and what have we learned therein today? A good friend of mine is descended from a long history of such resulting regicides. Furthermore most if not all candidates implore their constituency to direct their kids eighteen & above on which way to vote; that alone is no small crime should they happen to live next door to any polling place.

I like Bernie because he is likely to make things slightly better for people who are struggling. I like Paul because he says nice things about the constitution. I would give either of these two my vote. If it came down to both, I would have to flip a coin.

Nothing political about poisoning half of Chicago or gouging every drop of rare earth minerals from inner Australia to be turned into hybrid car batteries. I won't be wasting my breath on American politics when I'm more concerned about crimes against nature.

This whole diatribe is why my own snark's been out of control since day one.

Angela, with the things you say to people here you are in no position to call anyone a bully.

Other threads come up with reasons, yours don't.
