No one's stopping you.

Oh, but it might set of triggers!
It might make someone feel unsafe!!
It could wound someone's inner child!! !

The point is, you're inner child would be safe, as it isn't Trump's opponents who are resorting to violence.

That's not what that means.

Of course, they would need to add "bully" or "troll" to that in order to elicit the right pavlovian response from others they hope to sway.

Take notice of how cathylynn's husband is afraid a Bernie yard sign might result in possible arson.

I saw that more as satire but just hadn't commended on it yet. Failing that I'd call it paranoia. If Trump supporters are threatening violence in significant numbers I've missed it.

I doubt Trump's supporters have any such fears. At least not legitimate fears.

I don't know about that. If any wild eyed SJW's in significant numbers have taken up the anti-Trump cause anything is possible.

I don't think people should lash out at Trump physically. No excuse for that.

By the same token, Trump has to change his personal style radically. He comes across as a total as*hole.

Why should your perception of the man influence his demeanour?

trump, at his rallies, encourages his followers to assault protesters. my husband tends to be over-cautious, but he may not be far off-base here. he wouldn't let me put an obama sticker on my car after a car with a similar sticker was set afire and the perpetrator admitted the motive was to protest the possibility of a black president.

I think Cathylynn was explanatory about how Trump encourages his followers to use violence at his rallies, so no unfair paranoia on my part.
And yes, I know about that inner child crap. People on the right can swallow that horsesh*t as much as anyone else.

What about you? Are you trying to make yourself out to be a victim of me again? Are you going to have your little pet fish tell on me again?

The Dump loves all this fear and anxiety people are feeling. Evil, power-drunk, narcissistic psychopaths like Dump *thrive* on it.

The only cure for a cretin like that is a bullet through the head. :x

Way to get on a Secret Service list, they have to fully investigate all threats directed at anyone running for President, because if elected, Maple Syrup addled leafers are a danger.

Try to cross the border, welcome to a detention cell, a very full cavity search, and your vehicle cut in small pieces.

^ ^ I was going to address that bullet though the head comment but I've gotten so used to progressives endorsing violence against those they don't like that I figured what the hell. Besides, most of those types don't know which end of a rifle the bullets go in.

If you saw the political bumper stickers on our Mustang that my wife and I put on it, you'd know we live without fear of what Palin calls Trump's Trumpeters.
And where the fudge are you getting the idea I'm making myself out to be a victim?
And by the way, Fugu isn't the friend who figured you were getting way to personal. If truth be told, other than exchanging posts now and again, I've had little contact with him. Otherwise, I think he's a good guy.

You know you're living one sheltered and privileged existence if you talk to your psychologist about how Trump makes you anxious.

Aren't you painting progressives with a broad brush? You certainly don't like it when you're told conservatives are all violent.

Guess how many political bumper stickers are on the back of my 4runner or any other vehicle I've owned.
Z-E-R-O
Why? I've never felt the need to tell the world my politics.

You're always complaining about how you feel set upon by myself and a certain other individual you've designated as BFF.
Want quotations and links to examples? How many?

Must have been Aunt Santa Clause then. Besides, the fault I mentioned in that post is one that you've repeatedly admitted to so that hardly makes it "way too personal".

No, not really. Just in these forums alone I can find several examples of the likes that I've rarely if ever seen from conservatives on WP. Well, that's unless you want to count the few times that your brethren have claimed to feel threatened by my Dirty Harry avatar.

Actually, I find that I mind it less and less.
