No principles, and therefore no coherent positions. Never mind debating Cruz, Trump ought to debate Trump.

Try finding a better rag than the National Review to quote, they're desperately trying to invent new types of maths to make it seem plausible that Trump could lose nomination. Trump has been consistent on his foreign policy and has been for more than 25 years. Check out Trump on Oprah in 1988, sound familiar? He toyed around with running for president in 1988 and sounded quite the same.

#NeverTrump are bunch loser establishment hacks who have no future in the party, what principles do they stand for? None that I'd stand by, they all can go to hell.

Lend-Lease was probably indispensable to England's war effort at the time of WW II.

I'm not saying the UK should bow down to the US. We had an interest in the UK's survival as well.

But facts are facts.

I wasn't saying the UK should bow down the US, in fact the UK are one of few allies that I would actually consider true ally because despite all the dumb s**t from our leadership they're still there for us and us for them. I believe there is or should be a special relationship between the US and all the Anglo English speaking counties, I don't want the US to be some North Korean Juche state but there is a huge difference between being free and sovereign states with alliances that mutual benefit each other between countries that share so many cultural and ancestral ties, it's not a strategic partnership but rather family?

I am excited for a lot of the developments in Europe, there are some great leaders ascending despite all the efforts of the 'mainstream' to convince us that perpetual war and unfettered immigration are somehow a good and honorable thing. Donald trump when he is elected will not stand alone in the world, trust me because there will be more. If our old alliies want to be dicks about it too then maybe we should explore new allies like Russia who I think if we treated with respect could have a decent relationship with given our many shared interests. We're all going to long for the days of when it was a bi-polar powered world but now we're entering another age of Great Powers. China is rising fast, India is rising, these countries represent a large chunk of the population on this planet and they will eat us all up if we allow ourselves to get bogged down in petty squabbles. We will have to band together once again to save Western Civilization, the barbarians are at the gate and they're ready to knock it down.

We'll set the tone and then Europe will follow our lead altho the UK has a wonderful opportunity to usurp us and do it themselves by declaring their sovereignty and independence and voting for Brexit. The dominos are going to begin falling very soon.

I'm not against having foreign partners but it has to fit our interests and they have to truly be an ally, Turkey isn't a real ally of the United States and takes advantage their membership in NATO which is a completely antiquated useless organization to cause trouble in the middle east and then whenever some does something back they scream article 4 article 4! What has Turkey ever done for the United States? It is literally trying to take Europe by force right now, Erdogan is he is allowed into the EU will run the EU considering the 50 million Muslims already in Europe and the 75 million more in Turkey(which a huge refugee population and porous borders), this will be the end of Europe. The barbarians are at the gate and we're just letting them walk right in. Turkey already exerts considering influence on the EU, if you think the Germans are bad then just wait for Ottomans, they've been licking their chops for centuries for this and if you ask any of them they will say the same thing. Islam will conquer Europe and then the world, that's the plan.

Boris Johnson, Geert Wilders and Nigel Farage all support NATO and globalism. Marine Le Pen is very protectionist and socially conservative, and this is one of the reasons why they and UKIP have never got on. The PVV is like UKIP, but with a more anti-Islam rhetoric.

I would vote PVV in a heartbeat. I am a current UKIP voter (and leafleter). I am far less certain whether I would want to vote FN or Fidesz. I would never vote for Jobbik. A lot of the anti-globalisation parties in Europe are far-right.

The speech further proves Trump is an idiot, scum, racist (and so on) that has no right to be in politics.

Well they oppose it on some level since they oppose the European Union which is the crown jewel of globalism and future world government, they may have some differences of opinions but I consider them independent leaders for their brave stand against the undemocratic European Union. Leaving the EU would be a big middle finger to the EU. As for NATO, the problem with it is that it has way over expanded and is antiquated in it's purpose but I don't think a MUTUAL defense pact with our close allies in western Europe is the problem but rather the aggressive expansionism into eastern and southern Europe into the former sphere of influence of the Soviet Union which we promised not to do in return for the Soviets removing 500,000 soldiers from East Germany and to allow reunification. The deal was that they would not expand 'one inch to the east'. These are areas that are hotbeds of conflict and we are inviting these countries into an organization only for the purpose of imperialism and extending American hegemony. Europe will be changing a lot in the coming years, this progressive-liberal stranglehold over the continent is weakening by the day. Trump will not be alone with his allies, he will lead the way.

The first domino will fall soon enough, the UK has the chance to do that in June but we'll get our chance and maybe our only chance here in America in November.

Well we were the savior of the United Kingdom whether you are willing to admit it or not, what do you think would of happened if the United States just focused all its attention and money on it's own war against the Japanese who attacked the us at Pearl Harbor? Now don't even get me started on WWI! The US needs a foreign policy that our founders intended, Thomas Jefferson described it as 'peace, commerce, and honest friendship with and entangling alliances with NONE'. Trump worshiping? Produce a coherent thought that isn't a 1 or 2 sentence quip before attacking mine, thanks.

The eastern front and USSR was a far bigger factor in ending the war.

It was British, Canadian and other Commonwealth nations that were part of "The Few" who fought in the Battle of Britain.

It also was British radar technology that helped you out in the Atlantic, this was very significant. Do you realise there were U-boats as far as the Hudson river? They even sunk a freight ship off your east coast.

It was British signals intelligence and code breaking that shortened the war, and also Polish who were amazing.

We punched way above our weight.

Anyone can play the "we won the war" game. The most significant thing you did to end the war was to give money and steel to Stalin.

The british were an important part of the Arctic campaign to get the materials the.

The sailors/soldiers involved weren't officially recognized until recently, despite being some of the worst of the campaigns in the war.

Without the US in WWII, Europe was doomed to tyranny one way or another. It was also the US after WWII that rebuilt Europe with the Marshall Plan. I'm not saying you should be beholden to the United States or to minimize the British war effort which was heroic in the face of overwhelming odds but to say the US only acts in our own interests abroad is pretty insulting considering the blood and treasure our country sacrificed in liberating that continent. Now did the US have it's own interests in doing so, probably, but the point was that America acts often without it's own regard to help it's allies more than any country in history probably.

I give the Brits more credit than any of our other allies because they actually have stuck by our side and are imo our closest most loyal ally unlike say undependable countries like France or Germany or Japan. The UK actually spends the recommended amount as dictated by NATO on defense unlike the others mentioned.

NATO is antiquated, it needs to reformed and re-purposed or put to bed for good.

I think the US did loose its way in the cold war though. UK too but less so.
