and internal corruption and coups are not what i meant, because that's what we have a country have always done and that is the reason why so many immigrants come here anyway. obviously i know its idealistic to think about changing the entire structure of world politics and i was never intending to actually suggest a reasonable plan. rather, draw attention to the reasons why we are dealing with so much immigration and crime within immigrant populations.
i don't feel the need to contact a moderator and i'm not angry or feeling particularly picked on, however your reply does suit my point nicely because you've assumed i can't handle a debate by saying "perhaps robust discussion is not for you". i don't care if you don't want to admit that some of your debate tactics have been less than savory attempts to discredit me and i'm not going to apologize for pointing that out.

Hi seaweed.

thinking about the issue of gangs on a bigger scale doesn't denounce the small-scale.
No, but seeing it is such a everyday terrible "terror" situation for these poor people, and their families, it should be addressed immediately; that means NOW. Everyday we wait lets these gangs recruit innocent children into their midst.

obviously i know its idealistic to think about changing the entire structure of world politics and i was never intending to actually suggest a reasonable plan. I think we just lost our very best hope for a very long time...Bernie Sanders. Please don't hold your breath until another opportunity comes along....both the Democratic and Republican parties like things just the way they are, and will make sure nothing substantially changes (unless it's to rip off immigrants or citizens in a more efficient manner).

i don't feel the need to contact a moderator OK. Don't know if you read these going in so I'll post now for all of us:
"Personal attacks.
Posters must refrain from making personal attacks. Do not call people stupid or a***holes etc for not agreeing with you. You are allowed to think this - moderators aren't the thought police! Just don't express it in your posts! Attack the opinion not the poster. Personal attacks are a slightly fuzzy area because criticising someone's political or religious beliefs could be interpreted by some as a personal attack (but moderators do not consider it such) similarly it is easy to insinuate that someone is stupid for having various opinions but frankly the moderators don't have the time or inclination to wade through every post looking for sarcastic comments! Provided people don't get too out of hand this forum is given a wide scope for debate; which frankly is what the members themselves want here, not moderators stepping in all the time censoring their opinions.

So, as you can see, this is our version of The Wild West. People may become "buffeted" but this is within the guidelines of the forum.

Please don't feel personally attacked; looking about you can see everyone is treated the same way. But if you see me doing something you think I ought not do, you have my permission to "slap me upside the head" and straighten me out. OK? :) I don't feel personal attacks belong in this, or any, forum.
