No. At least not about modern feminism, wich is cancer...

It used to be a very important thing, back in the 19XX years. I was raised by a feminist born in the 70s, and what they did was good and important. It served equality, and it did its job. Modern day feminism is about the same as modern day environmentalists. They are the remnants of a once very important movement wich already fulfilled their primary goals {at least in the western world}, got unnecessary today and therefore turned extremist and ridiculous. They arent against sexism, they turn sexism around and call that their new "equality". And you cant argue with them in any capacity because they dont follow logic, they follow ideology. And as history has shown more than often enough - bad things happen when to much people blindly follow ideologies. Modern day femisim is harmful, for both genders (and all inbetween, whatever). Yes i know exeptions exist, but there is a saying in my country wich would translate to "exceptions prove the rule"...

So to finally say something positive about feminism: It was good to have it in the last century...

Doesn't all that (especially the part about it no longer being needed) inherently imply that women and men are now seen as equal in terms of laws, social standing, privilege, and so on? Surely you are not saying that is the case?

I think Feminism, in its simple, elemental form, is great.

Equality for all genders! In everything!

If only that were all it was about. Honestly, I'm as tired of the bait and switch whenever the topic comes up as anything else.

I really like the original concept which is making it fair for both men and women.

No, I don't think equality is what women really want. It's simply to put an end to a culture that dehumanizes them (*cough* All middle-eastern religions! *cough*)

Women are dehumanized in some places.

Within a New York context, though, women are strong, assertive, and have accomplished much over the past generation. There are more women judges than men judges, for example.

Nothing wrong with that. It's because women work hard.
