I'm going to conduct a social experiment in this forum pretty soon to highlight the failure to make coherent points with PC language. How many ist's, ism's, phobias and spoken volumes do I have to see in every discussion? How many do others have to see? Have people lost their will to think and let people dictate rhetoric for them?

Back to the OP - Lena Dunham is removed from the likes of us and does not understand the plight of those who have genuine concerns about the President Elect. She just says things to make her sound like a good person yet demonstrates almost zero qualities to prove she is one much like a lot of the Weekend Warrior brigade who feel they can solve every problem by throwing labels around and using only 140 characters.

That's nonsense because one Lena is a very divisive figure even on the left as you can see in this thread, the people that have really broken her down the most are people on the left as they are the only people that consume her work. If even they're saying that then the antipathy that those on right and center have towards her should be pretty easy to understand.

I don't think I could sit thru an episode of 'Girls' without ramming my face head first into a wall, the whole overly privileged Brooklyn hipster crowd have no connection or relevance at all to me or the vast majority of Americans. Big coastal city liberals have created a fantasy world inside of a bubble that just got popped, they are the winners of this stratification of America while the rest of us in the middle of the country have been left to rot but no more! It's our turn now! They look down their noses at their fellow Americans, they call them every name in the book and have done everything in their power to create an environment to create climate of fear and intimidation to all those that oppose them. They want to shove their totalitarian PC culture down our throats whether we like it or not.

Would she be criticized the same if she was a man? If you want the truth, Lena would not be famous or have a career if she was a man so she wouldn't be relevant but she would still be living an extremely privileged life. She's the type of feminist that makes Andrea Dworkin seem attractive, far far less intellectual of course.

I suspect most voters are horrified by what came out of Trump's mouth and political correctness gone amok. The had to make a choice. For all intents and purposes the vote was even, but because the eloctoral college was set up to favor rural areas Trump won.

For all the revenge of the rural areas talk it will be Trump from Queens negotiating with Schumer from Brooklyn.

Most posters here are civil but if you really want to see what people think about Dunham go to an unmoderated website. and scroll through the comments about her. I should haveleft trump out of this.
