I think the Crusades are often misportrayed by common media these days. They happened after 600 years of Islam offense threathening to destroy Western civilization. Yes, the Crusaders did horrible stuff to such as killing jews in Jerusalem but this is pale i comparisen to what the Muslims did in their 1400 year conquest.
