In Colombia a couple of years ago, I watched a fight between two dogs in a pack.

The two dogs would be focussed on each other and the little dogs would come and nip at their hind legs.

The little dogs would not normally confront them because they were afraid, but when the big dog was fighting someone else, they would attack from behind.

If anyone here would know absurd it is you junior. :D

George Stephanopoulos briefed the press for about four months during his term as Director of Communications (despite Dee Dee Myers serving as the White House Press secretary). While he was (and is) a partisan, he essentially proved his worth to Bill Clinton, and ended up serving as White House Senior Advisor to the President (a much stronger office to be held) for the remainder of the Clinton administration's first term. In other words, several presidential appointees have succeeded in advancing to higher positions while others have lost interest (or that of the presidents they served). In Washington, the name of the game is often described as "musical chairs." It is not a sign of weakness; rather, it is a sign that either the appointee or the president had different ideas of what the job entailed.

This seems a different type of story. He might be facing criminal charges if the politics were different. There is a persistent story of colusion with Russia, that doesnt seem to be going away.

This thread has become even worse than absurd.
It's boring.
I'm not even tempted to stick around for the popcorn.
See you in another thread, maybe ...

It was a stillborn thread from the start. Had it not been for me I doubt there would be a single reply.
See how awesome I am.
:D

Is anyone watching the Idiot's press conference? He is so cringe worthy I would be embarrassed for him if he wasn't trying to destroy the world.

No, wearing something like that would only make it appear bigger.
Besides, I got YOU to reply.

well technically he's a red so US is on red mode again... that means there will be a war, inevitably. I think it will be its own citizens, but I could be wrong, might be the russians come round some of us up and americans round up some of them and then it will be like governments as bully friends against each other's citizens. Either way, seems history has lead to this point... the rich and the poor going at each other in war, and guess who fight for the rich? that's right, bullies recruited from the poor who are particularly skilled with violence. power to control peers as property and get paid well and worshiped for it. (puke)

ha. dismal future we got and trump seems on fast track to kick it off :/

silver lining, the aftermath will consist of anarchy (as in lack of hierarchy or power system) and harmony with natural world... seems to be where things are headed, inevitably. hopefully.

*Edit:
Call me weird but it seems to me like scifi in hollywood has an eerie way of "predicting the future". A particular scifi hollywood production stands out to me, being autistic.
The "divergent" series, "kid flick"... In that story, I noticed the factionalizing of society being a very important goal for those in "power" and the "divergent" were those "garbage" who couldn't be contained to any faction... I kind of resonate this "category", from a philosophical perspective, as an autistic.

I particularly like how the "divergent" (autistic in future equivalent) are depicted as the hope for survival when the "system" comes crashing down.

I also resonated with an older movie called "the matrix" when I was a kid, memorizing every scene and line and being able to mentally project it on the concrete walls I was confined in shortly after and the philosophical mockery of our modern society and world view and even the warning of y2k surrounding its release too. ha now I see everyone infected with the prion, even me, the y2k bug. Now we are all attached to electronic dependence. the same "fear" we had when the matrix was released.

Is what it is

Scifi in hollywood has depicted a very dark future ahead that includes lots and lots of commoners killed by government. then brought under a titanium fist until collapse from the weight and pressure.

Even ancient mystics have had comparable visions, all over the world, regarding the natural progression of human "civilization". And the fact that very bright minds can so easily make a logical argument for anti-civ thought at this time when these things are happening seems a silver lining around the dark cloud that is our future.

Trump is a just a face, an imbecile... he laughs because so many people says "I thought it was a joke"... because he knows, it is a joke. Still a joke. Joke's on all of us "peasants" who are "eagerly ruled".

People are so passionate about Trump; I hope there isn't civil war.

the alternative to anarchy and harmony with natural world (i.e. living to fulfil natural eco purpose, rather than imagined fiction) after all we have done since that blunder ~10k years ago is to end with extinction... I don't really like that option but I guess this most certainly is one of those situations where the majority decision does rule and the outlook looks very poor without tons of heat and pressure on spirits everywhere; i.e. global war between rich (government; ruling class) and poor (common, peasant, property) until everyone left finally realizes the absurdity of all of it. They can kill me today but that won't get rid of the truth. Either humans DRAMATICALLY change their ways or "there's no prayer" for them.

is what it is.

Now, just watch for the signal. You'll see, it's all planned strategically, 75-125 years in the making (depending what aspect you're looking at). The signal to kick it all off will come signifying a specific enemy that the majority can stand behind "euthanizing"... perhaps the extreme poor, "homeless", especially with disabilities (including excessive intelligence, which for me is quite disabling). Then with majority consensus to state determine "life worth living" decisions... well... yeah. history repeating itself with TODAY'S technology? ouch... ww2 was a gnat in comparison :/

perhaps someone should do a cartoon of our future where it shows them looking back on their past to ww3 where governments united against peasants divided produced mass quantities of bodies from all sorts of atrocities, such as depopulating whole cities by providing resources to the guards who oversee the starvation of the population and keep "order" over them as it happens, while the population's supply lines have been cut off... then to get rid of the bodies they have a monthly menstruation where they send the bodies stuffed in cartons on a rocket s**t with the sun as the destination... then when it reaches the sun, the ruler celebrate the cremation.

It is bad and you have about 100k humans who all agree that the population should be 99% removed from where it is today and they just so happen to be the most powerful and privileged people in the world... so we'll see what the future holds but I think someone should do a very somberly realistic, grotesque cartoon.

Everyone knows the way humans are living, that humans pretty soon will have a lot of trouble breathing, the most clear response is depopulation and they are not letting go of that from a scientific perspective. is what it is.

We're NOT going to have a civil war.
