It would be just like the president's twitter account.

I think Hitler would be more likely to have a Twitter account, where he would whine about Youtube banning him and deleting his videos due to "persecution" or something like that. He would have a much bigger following among the racist "alt-right" people than Trump's account does. After all, there's a group of racists who are also anti-Semitic as well, so Hitler's hypothetical account would appeal to that corner of Twitter.

I remember her.
She was the cutest Nazi ever.

It was an interesting experience when I saw her. She went from cute to creepy in about two minutes. Quite an achievement!

Yeah, I guess Hitler wouldn't actually be allowed to do his thing like he would want to on actual You Tube, but he might have set up his own You-Tube type platform to perform on.

Or he might have just used Twitter. Competed with the president for the number of indignant tweets.

But maybe Hitler might have just started his own death metal, or rap group, pressed records, and called his political music act "the Vinyl Solution".

I'd be more concerned about what the little cunning rat Goebbels could knit together, he wrapped the whole deranged machine together.

I don't imagine Hitler would be hostile to a sympathetic national leader.

On the contrary.

If a young and unknown Hitler made podcasts he would have soon gotten the attention of Steve Bannon who would quickly hire him because "this Adolf kid is good! And he fits right into Breitbart News". And then when Trump hired Bannon, Bannon in turn, would bring the fledgling Fuhrer with him to work AT the White House. Not to blow up the White House.

If he makes his way to presidency, he would probably blow up the US capital building anyway, because there is no way the US senate and house would pass the enabling act. Just getting a bunch of angry protesters to blow up the government would probably save time.

The tricky thing about Hitler is that he seemed to give a lot of very energetic campaign speeches that promised a lot but he never got into the crazy stuff so I don't know if even asking what it would be like for him to have a Youtube channel would be meaningful - ie. no one would know he was 'Hitler' in the sense you mean it. Even as bad as Wiemar Republic was he would never have been elected if he had campaigned as himself with a full set of his views and plans baked into his speeches. There was always slight of hand and the divide and conquer game exploited every reasonable excuse until people had no means to stand up to the unreasonable ones.

^this.
Hitler wasn't a fanatic until he had a well established power base. Two quotes: 1. "That's the way to do it, take them (jews) out into the streets and thrash them." and 2. "We have a problem with semitic integration." Number one was not Hitler, that was Richard Wagner circa 1870, number 2 is Hitler in his election for president (he lost that election btw). Hitler's political career was one marked by charisma and understatement, not until the 1934 Night of the Long Knives did the German people know what they were in store for: he assassinated every political opponent, those not 100% loyal to him in the military, and a fair number of Nazi's themselves if they were in positions to challenge him.

Actually, in the 1920s, Hitler was already a virulent anti-Semite. Just look at "Mein Kampf," which he wrote in prison after his attempted coup (The Beer Hall Putsch).

Bear in mind that the Nazis, even in the 1920s, had the SA ("Brownshirts") who were very well known, and very physical, and very violent.

Based on the "brownshirts" alone, people should have been aware of Hitler's peculiar proclivities.

Basically (sort of like the present day), people were looking for an alternative to the status-quo. "Pick a card, any card," so to speak. People were carrying wheelbarrows full of currency in order to buy a loaf of bread. The Weimar Republic just wasn't working. Hitler offered an "alternative," and people bought into it. I am sure his anti-Semitism was well-known. I don't believe his plans for a "final solution" were known, though.

This is why peole should really THINK before they choose an "alternative." Just don't choose somebody just because he/she is "different."

Here's the thing, people seem to think Hitler was elected chancellor, he was not. Hindenburg appointed him chancellor and from that position Hitler consolidated more power than that position was ever intended to hold, generally through the brown-shirt violence you mentioned.
Quote:
Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor on 30 January 1933, in a coalition arrangement between the Nazis and the Nationalist-Conservatives. Papen was to serve as Vice-Chancellor in a majority conservative Cabinet – still falsely believing that he could "tame" Hitler.[44] Initially, Papen did speak out against some Nazi excesses, and later narrowly escaped death in the Night of the Long Knives, whereafter he ceased to openly criticize the regime.

Also the Nazi's never held a majority, merely a plurality:
Quote:
The Nazi Party lost 35 seats in the November 1932 election, but remained the Reichstag's largest party, with 196 seats (33.09%). The Social Democrats (SPD) won 121 seats (20.43%) and the Communists (KPD) won 100 (16.86%).

Hindenburg was the ceremonial Weimar president. Hitler's party won a plurality in the 1932 election, won the most seats in the Reichstag, so the chancellor, according to custom, had to be chosen from that party.

Trust me, Hindenburg was very reluctant to choose Hitler; he was a traditionalist, yet he didn't want to go with the custom. Some kind of deal was struck (of which I have to read up on).

In many ways, this is similar to how the Prime Minister is chosen in the UK, by the (ceremonial) monarch.

The Reichstag building was really a beautiful building---and Hitler had to burn it down!

There would be loads of comments on the videos about how everyone's overreacting and Hitler isn't that bad, he's just a realist and wants to stop illegal Jews.

If Hitler had a YouTube channel, he wouldn't become Hitler because he'd be too distracted by all those adorable sleepy kitten videos.
