All she wants is attention, even these tears are fake. She's one of these 'unfunny' comedians who have somehow for some reason been able to string out a 30 year from it, Al Franken is made the US Senate and that's the generation of unfunny that Kathy Griffin comes from. Her crying about being bullied is hilarious considering pretty much all of her relevancy over the past couple decades has come at the expense of bullying someone else most notably the children of of politicians. This is the left getting a taste of their own medicine, with any luck her life and career will be ruined forever.

When will the right gat a taste of its own medicine?

For example, when will Donald Trump get booted out of America and then blown to pieces?
I just hope he gets what he dishes out.

On a hilarious note, I blame Trump for my Obama phone failure.I went to use it shortly after he took office and it didn't work :? Called the provider and they said they sent me a text to renew it for the coming year.No they didn't,and nothing in the mail either. So I jump thru the hoops for recertification,e- mailing pic of Medicaid card,etc..
Phone still isn't on.Call company again, agent seems puzzled.Said they turned it on,than back off for some reason. To call back on three to four business days to resolve.I did, phone still off. Then they said someone would call me back in a few days and straighten it all out.No one called.I said frack it and just bought a pay as you go phone at the dollar store.I like it better,it's a smartphone and the other was an old flip phone.
Trump obviously killed my phone since I bitched about him online. :P lol It's a Trump phone now and about as useful as he is.

For real? Government paid phones exist?

Yes,just go to your human services office and they should have pamphlets. If you are low income,on food stamps,or SSI you are eligible. There are several companies doing this.Only one in my area,USconnect mobile.Don't use them if you have other options. They suck.If you live in a larger metro area you should have more choices.

They're popularly called "Obamaphones"

What about Griffin Derangement Syndrome?

That's like comparing a temporary gust of wind to an endless hurricane.

I'm sorry, but I honestly don't know who's side you are on.

If Griffin is the gust of wind, you are correct.

I don't think that Donald Trump should be put to death by a lynch mob. That would be too uncivilized.
We should send him to court and sentence him to death for crimes against humanity. Note to Mods: That would technically be legal.

I'm on the side of rationality.

What she did was in bad taste. Not like it's anything new for people to post images of a president being hung by the neck.Where was the outrage over that?

I think what it is is that they think Trump needs to be coddled or that they are worried about Barron. However the former has got to stop. A president shouldn't need to be coddled/deserve special treatment and he should take it like Obama did since they didn't even bat an eyelid over the hate Obama would constantly get (sometimes they would even bash his wife).

As to the latter, I feel bad for Barron but I'm sure Obama's daughters wasn't too fond of the hate their dad was getting. They just probably weren't as sensitive about it because they knew their dad was a good person. This only reiterates how much Trump should leave. I don't care how, he can resign if he wants. To be in a position where you basically egg on hate proves he not only doesn't care about the country but he doesn't care about his own son. I've never liked Kathy Griffin personally but at the same time I've never seen her make a joke this intense before. Perhaps I don't pay attention enough but I feel like I would have heard about it if she had.
Also Trump may not have made statements like this but he has incited violence and it's pretty crazy that conservatives excuse it. Worse yet he excuses Putin which has actually put to death people who dare criticize him. Where's the outrage in that? They have got to stop putting party over country.

But this was a well known celebrity who's an outspoken liberal and CNN employee holding a bloody decapitated head ala ISIS for a professional video/photo shoot intended for global distribution.

What past incident is a true equivalency to that?

To me personally it's not as much of an outrage, as facepalming at liberals continuing to make "this is how bananas liberals are" demonstrations. How's about something dignified and sane looking just once for a change?

Obama was not bashed maligned and vilified by mainstream media and well known celebrities on national/global television with so much pure hatred on a daily basis. Everything leveled at Obama in 8 years comes nowhere close to what has been leveled at Trump in just 6 months. There's no true equivalency comparison. That's not me being pro-Trump, that's just me viewing the matter realistically.

BS.

Obama was constantly bashed by Fox News. Contrary to popular belief, Fox News is mainstream.

Obama was a warmonger who loved the Patriot Act, but Fox News still said that he was too liberal and too soft.
Fox News is run by sick freaks.

What Fox did was not equivalent to the massive volume and degree of hit pieces generated on a daily/hourly basis by multiple mainstream media outlets. It's a matter of how much one thing so drastically outweighs the other by way of sheer volume.

That one point is true. If you went to his concerts you might hear Ted Nugent screaming for Obama's head on a platter. But not outside the venue in the wider media, and you didnt see Ted Nugent hanging Obama in effigy on Nugent's CD covers.

There was no widely recognized celeb who made a gory visual about Obama (nor of W.,either) like that.

You're right but that's because Obama was a reasonable person and the media is usually reasonable as well as celebrities. However a lot of laymen ("regular folk") said beyond terrible things about Obama. Some would even post videos or pictures of their hate so there is a lot of hatred it's just not coming from the same type of people.
Also Trump may just be one person but there is a video of him joking about Obama firing a gun and lest we forget he questioned Obama's citizenship. That's not even including the constant tweets he would make about him. I understand that he was a citizen then but the problem with many of them were he was criticizing Obama for things he is now doing during his presidency.
Also he is being coddled by his supporters and most importantly his team. That's what I meant. If you've seen the way some people introduce him it is ridiculous. They support whatever he puts out. Paul Ryan..bless him. I'm sure he is an okay person but he has no backbone so he ignores the things that are wrong with him. Obama never got that in the WH. It is said that certain things did not get passed and that's why the economy did not do as well as they hoped. On the surface they respected him though but I'm sure if Obama did half the things that Trump has done they would be throwing him out immediately.

Though the media did have a dark side before. Remember when Britney Spears had a meltdown?
Also if you want to go political consider the Hilary debacle. She was thrown under that bus just because of some stupid emails but unlike Hilary Trump got what he wanted.

Well I think the liberal media and liberal celebrities, would be far less inclined to attack a fairly generic liberal president. But as far as attacks from the general public gutter goes, I don't see it as it has shifted from them to the media and comedians etc. It seems more like the media and so on have just sunk to gutter level.

I think it's counter productive to act like bad guys in the way they deal with someone they think is a bad guy. To make themselves look bad in the process of making someone look bad. Or even making themselves look bad in pointing out how bad someone is.

So much of it comes off as way over the top and highly exaggerated. Not to mention incessant. It's laid on so thick I believe it all loses credibility with those not swept up in it. Republicans were saying early on the extreme level of what looked like pure insanity was helping them win the election and win they did. And it seems like the hope is that if it continues to ever increasing incessant lengths, that's somehow going to have an opposite effect come next election.

Conversations like this get painful to watch because they get enmeshed in all kinds of ridiculous complexities.

If there's one thing that really grieves me about 'party' is that someone can do something absurd, get backlash, act like even more of a clown, and there seems to be an implicit claim that your criticism means you approve of the same behavior when the other party does it - even if you just had better things to do when that made the news. I suppose I just have the simple belief that if people act like horses asses they have the right to be ridiculed and if the other party did the exact same thing lets ridicule them for it also. If we start making special selections of which stupidity is allowed for ridicule it sets a weird precedent.
