Please, PLEase, PLEASE tell me who is "we"----and, why you keep saying "we", "our", "us", when referring to anything that happens, in the the U.S. There is NO "we", because you are a CANADIAN, living in Ottawa!!

...The electors, of any party, are sworn to vote for their party's nominee if that nominee gets their state's vote, they don't really have any choice!
They are " B.M.O.C. "s within their parties, big Party people, that's how they got the elector nomination in the first place...Besides, they would probably consider in, in general, their duty to vote for their state's winner!

Most people have only seen a cropped photo, rarely do people see the granite scree littered at the base of the mountain from carving the sculpture. In the great human tradition not only did they carve up nature, they didn't even clean up after themselves when done. If the photos weren't idealized with clever cropping and showed the full mountain more people would be aware of how hideous it actually looks.
