Before I got an official diagnosis, I was a JW for 10 years. Did you have any questions?

She never even told me she was a JW for years ...
... was incredibly deceitful that way.
So the expectations that were built up were false,
and the physical distance helped her keep up the pretense.


I don’t find them much different than other devout christians.

Maybe she hid it because she knew that you would judge her faith?

There isn't really much difference, but there religion take up a lot of their time. Burnout is a possibility

I noticed no one asked any questions. I have one? Why did you leave the religion after your diagnosis (or was the timing unrelated)?
