I just have to say Poland does seem to have some unusual laws.
One of my most favorite bands Behemoth is from Poland and I have heard they have had some difficulties with some of that. Like apparently there are still some kind of anti-blasphemy laws on the books, but typically courts don't persecute on those charges is the way I understood it, but can still cause legal inconvenience.
What did you expect? Most Poles are Catholics (some 90%), the rest are Protestants or Orthodox, even if they do not practice and do not go to their church, they still remain Christians, or at least consider them as such.
We also have a law prohibiting the promotion of totalitarian regimes (communism / nazism) but, strangely, nobody tries to penalize criminals who dress in t shirts with che guevara or Mao Zedong, but when it comes to Counter-protesters from Polish patriots organization come and start chanting |raz sierpem raz młotem czerwoną hołotę" loosely translated as "(Throw) One sickle on Hummer into red scumbags" are accused of promoting Nazism
We had also law prohibiting promoting perverted criminal sexual behavior, and it's aimed solely into pedophilia and bestiality prohibiting not just producing visual material but also written on, and presenting it as something natural.
