Being an artist myself, I would have to say it comes second to science, while sports are one of the *least* important things in the world.
If it wasn't for science we wouldn't have invented things, learned about the earth's history, discovered other planets or found ways to treat, prevent or cure disease. We'd probably all still be thinking the sun revolves around the earth.
We need art to help keep us entertained and relaxed. Cartoons and animation are also art. So is music.
Sports, however, are nothing but putting stress, physical, and emotional abuse on people to perform until they break down or turn to steroids. People who lose at organized sports are treated horribly. If they give up at it they're called quitters. If you're male, it's even worse because society still firmly believes guys who aren't into sports are wimps or homosexuals. Tell that to my brother, who would rather hold an artist's paintbrush than a football and had been married for about two decades, now.

Yes, stereotypes can be harmful, like thinking that someone who looking wimpy might be gay, sometime the opposite is true
When i was kid i every year go to summer camp meant for kids on autism or ADHD it was financed by polish ministry of health. I meet there boy who was at me age and active in sports, he had ADHD, i envied that he is so athletic while i was fat
He admit that he not disclose that because he not lost place in his school soccer team (it's basically our Polish national sport) because he very love it.
He was also very much smart and had high IQ and athlete should be dump according to stereotypes
