Too bad you don't know that it is inconstitutional for us to do a census of the Rom populaces, not that it would necessarily be that bad.

I wonder what he was intending to plan for them, he surely cannot allow them to grow up normally and take American jobs because that would contradict what he promised for to his voters.

Maybe training them in camps and turning them into some sort of brainwashed government assassins/mercs for dirty work that so few American would do? /conspiracy

That would have been a genius plan!

But I would like to have your take on whether this ~separation of families~ really is The Wall in making?

The people will stop coming, will stop even asking to cross that border, if they know that the automatic
result will be (permanent?) loss of their children.

Maybe the separated families are individually being well-treated, fed, housed, etc. But home is where you can hold your parents' hands.

I'm serious. If we can step away from the horrors from the press, do we see that the border is about to become
very solid by virtue of no applications to cross?

Who sends their child alone to another nation?

A lot of them were ripped from their parents at the border, their parents came to ask for assylum, which isn't actually illegal. Also those children already have families, they are not being set up with families to begin with...but even if they were that is hardly a solution to being ripped away from their already existing parents. There is video and audio of children screaming and crying from being torn away from their parents.

The ones that came without parents probably don't have parents, they're parents are probably dead. Maybe you don't know much about how things work in the nations they come from.

The camps and policies were built under Obama and have been in operation for years.
So why was it ok under Obama?

There’s quite a bit of things done under Obama the left was either ok with or didn’t care about but now it’s continued under trump it’s horrible

They weren't alone; they were with their parents. Trump ordered them to be taken from their parents as a deterrent to coming here.

Trump signed an Executive Order which states that families shouldn't be separated any more.

Hopefully, his wife put the pressure on him.

Obama made little use of it, and in fact went out of his way to avoid separating parents from children. It was Trump who gleefully made use of this policy. Not only that, but his closest supporters, like that douche nozzle Lewndowski heartlessly made light of a little girl with Down's Syndrome being taken from her parents.

Apparently it’s been a policy in place since Clinton in the 90s
So how’s it ok under Clinton, bush, and Obama(who built the current camps) but bad under trump? Where were you when kids were being separated under Obama’s?

Like Kraich said previously-----they didn't separate families. Children from their mothers and fathers.

Only under Trump did they do this.

What’s next you going hate trump for doing drone strike and claim Obama never did any?

As for Trump's turn-around this afternoon, it orders the reunification of families but that's all. It's an order sitting there by itself without any effect, and Trump knew that. What will happen as a result of that order will be a lot of red tape and passing time, with families still separated.

I never said Obama was any sort of "saint." Nor do I believe that he is one. He's a politician, first and foremost. I believe he will end up in the "middle of the pack" as far as rating Presidents is concerned.

But I do believe he is more statesman-like than Trump. Many Republicans agree with me, by the way.

Trump is going nuts with these tariffs.
