And because he takes advantage of people.

As a minority, I’m getting screwed but as a 1%er I’m getting rich as money from the poor is funneled my way.

People actually believe and still do that a fat cat with a history of robbing people blind is going to start caring about them. The people from NYC hate Trump the most, but that’s because we know who Trump is - a snake oil salesman who’s only in it for himself. Hell, ironically he even recently bragged about being part of the elite to odd roaring applause.

How is money from the poor being funnelled your way?

Google “GOP tax breaks rich poor” for many articles regarding it.

Here are just some articles that include charts:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics ... poor-graph

https://www.npr.org/2017/11/14/56288407 ... -americans

Basically helps us plutocrats, stiffs the poor, and makes the wealth inequality gap even worse.

One related myth of who voted for Trump - it was the rich elitists among me who went for Trump rather than the working class (who surprisingly leaned Clinton, despite the narrative and most vocal of Trump’s supporters - the numbers show a different story).

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/mon ... ing-class/

https://www.dw.com/en/no-most-working-c ... a-39471004

Considering Trump supporters like screaming “fake news” don’t really feel like diving into it further than that.

that would fit some pointy-hat dynasties

I really don't understand this post.

Trump was the one who expressed willingness to nuke Europe. Clinton did nothing of the sort.

In what sense would Clinton have been publicly humiliated if she'd won? And what makes you think she'd be more dangerous with the nuclear button than Trump? And why on earth do you think this would "end feminism"? :?

That would fit alongside why they think Pizza Gate is also real.

Taking less money from you is not the same as taking money from the poor.

Nobody took an exit poll of voters, and asked them if they are autistic........

I wrote in “None of the above,” since all of them stank worse than my dearly departed bloodhounds and basset hound. I’m still catching hell for that vote.

I voted for him in the general. He wasn't my first, second or third choice during the primaries, but he was a much better choice than Clinton.

We had a far right wing WP member who wrote posts supporting the idiotic Pizza Gate conspiracy theories, believing that cannibalism was even involved.

I also voted for him in the general, here. I don't care what anyone else said. Hell, I'm tired of the whole yard of establishment (academia, entertainment, etc.) being dominated by the left and far-left. They are always the one using disingenuous talking points about "fair share". Where is the right's "fair share" in all the institutions like Hollywood and academia.

So, in other words, you want a "hand out"?

You're not owed anything. Work hard, pull yourself up by the bootstraps, and if you actually have talent - then you'll get in.

It's really as simple and as easy as that.

Someone wants conservative teachers? Okay, then become a conservative teacher. Conservatives want more of a say in Hollywood, okay then literally try to sell something that can make money - don't whine, do it.

Instead, conservatives love to whine that there is a vast conspiracy theory holding them back rather than actually putting any effort and work in. Case in point - Mel Gibson is as openly racist and anti-semitic as people come, yet he continues getting MAJOR funding from the TOP studios to direct his dream projects. Clint Eastwood owns many of the buildings on the WB lot. If the whole "oh my god Hollywood has a conspiracy against us!" had any merit Mel Gibson would have been chased out of Hollywood a long time ago. Conservatives should stop with the conspiracy theories and their whining and actually work.

I personally find it weird how in every other regard conservatives love to say "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" while in others such as Hollywood and academia especially they believe they are owed an affirmative action type of hand-out. Life doesn't work that way - pull yourself up by your bootstrap.

This is one of the areas - business, and work, ethic - that I am actually stringently conservative in.

Adding: I work in the film industry and connected to one of the top studios, thus it's a field that I have experience with.

I did not vote for him.

But I didn't vote for Clinton either, so that makes me a potential social pariah.

I voted for Clinton because Trump is a bully and his behavior encourages other bullies.

At least I'm still doing OK financially. All right, a lot better than OK.
Which allows me to create my own little bubble to keep the bullies away.

A couple extra bucks in tips really does make a difference at your favorite restaurants. Everyone remembers.

Trump doesn’t exactly dig “disabled” people.

Suppose some liberal believes in the Second Amendment? Yes, they do exist.
