The men who comprise VIPS are people who have worked in the intelligence industry for decades and have reached fairly senior positions.
They are serious and experienced men, with a history of being on the money. So what they say is worth the effort of reading. Even if you don't agree with it.
I'm curious why you find the idea that politicians might lie to save their own hides, so astonishing?
There are in fact are a great many intelligence agents - both active and retired - who say Russia did in fact hack the DNC.

All this speculation may become moot, because the traitor Assange could soon be evicted from the Ecuadorian embassy!
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange may soon be evicted from the London embassy that has sheltered him for the last six years. Ecuador, which has played host to the political provocateur since 2012, and Britain are in high-level discussions over Assange’s fate, the Sunday Times of London reported. New Ecuadorean president Lenin Moreno – who has called Assange a "stone in the shoe" – dismisses him as a problem he inherited from his predecessor.

Is he considered as traitor by Australia?
Edward Snowden on the other hand, is a big American traitor to his country since he brought secret information to Russia (I don't really buy it that he did because he has conscience regarding his country's actions) . Or he was a double agent for Russia side since the beginning and it was really not a matter of a conscience call.

You can claim that, but your original claim was that they had never leaked any material on Russia at all.
For that Matter, they have leaked only minor amounts of material on China, India and Brazil as well.
Obviously they are a joint, China, India, Brazil, Russia, operation if we are to go by your reasoning.
However what is obvious to me, is that these kinds of stories come out, every time they publish something that upsets someone.
I can remember back in the Bush II days of 2007/8, when they published stuff that made headlines.
He was a Jewish operative. (When he leaked the British fascist parties membership list)
He was a High Tech Terrorist!! (When he leaked on Bush the Seconds stupid war).
Then with the Sarah Palin emails, Fox news said he was an agent of Obama and the DNC.
This happens every single time, news stories in the media, calling them agents of whatever bogeyman is in the news that week.
India and Brazil are not on Russia's target scope, why their spies (ie. Wikileaks) would target them? And they have good relations with China.
But seriously, most of their leaks "happens" to be about US, UK, - Israel, Saudi Arabia and even the 'Pro-US' parties in small countries like in Lebanon - but only once about Russia (which was a lame leak about a gov-backed Russian company doing spying, which is nothing new), Iran , Qatar, and never about Pro-Russia/Iran parties in smaller countries.
It's really hard to take them as credible when 99% of their scandal targets only one side.

Assange is an Australian citizen, how the US would lock him and for what charges?

Impartial is not the same as Credible.
Credibility, they don't have to prove, the DNC emails were DKIM signed, so any third party can verify them as Authentic.
Impartiality, is a much harder metric to prove, one way or the other, hence all the speculation.
Same for Edward Snowden.
Why these guys always fly to Russia? And why he never leaks negative scandals about Russia?
It's clear as crystal.
Just with no evidence as usual.

Um, they have published information on Russia.
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09- ... nce-system
The number of countries they have published on is quite extensive.
Oh come on, they did that only because all non-idiot people are talking about it; it is becoming too obvious.
The author himself said “It’s the first time the organization has leaked material directly pertaining to the Russian state.”
It’s the first time! After... more than 10 years!
Come on.... we are not that stupid.
Assange is just levelling the playing field. He posts the stuff that out corporate media hacks refuse to talk about.

Yeah and they are all liars who provide zero evidence. Could say the same about Iraq's 'WMD's' and the link to Al Qaeda that never existed.

Completely disgusting that you are smiling about it. I'm pretty sure Assange is on the spectrum. He has done so much to expose the US's crimes.

He did not bring the information to Russia and give it to them! He gave it to an American journalist. A real journalist! Glenn Greenwald.

Says you that they're liars. The fact that Mueller has several indictments and guilty pleas says there's plenty there.

Just zero evidence. Kind of a theme.
