It likely has to do with the works and deeds they perform towards you and the reciprocity you will return with if it is to be a true love. Love takes two.

GnosticBishop, you are speaking in riddles; do you fancy yourself one of those wise men who speak only in riddles? You don't have the clarity to answer your own question as you posed to "others." You state your god acknowledges you, but you won't tell us how. But if others state their god acknowledges them, you want some kind of proof from us.
Quakers testify to their ongoing messages from god, and consider themselves to have an ongoing relationship with god, which mostly involves listening to god. Most Quakers would say, I think, that god acknowledges them and they get messages from god. My own relationship with god is an intimate one that I would not share in a public forum and can't imagine why others would either.
But most of all, I disagree with your statement that it takes two to love. One person can love another without it being reciprocated, or even having the recipient be aware of it. If you think it takes two to love fully and deeply, then you are living in an impoverished life. Even if "god" does not exist, but a person loves and devotes herself to god in a way that results in spiritual centeredness and good works, it really doesn't matter if god exists or not, does it?

Clearly God's "acknowledgement" means different things to different people.
I've known some who hate God because they believe even a burning bush wouldn't be revealing enough let alone what is written about Jesus in the Gospels.
I believe at least some people's hatred and anger toward God stems from a God complex (Why can't I be like you? Why must I be subject to and inferior to you? Why must I suffer? I hate you.) Bob Dylan puts it eloquently in his own quirky way: "You gotta SERVE somebody."
Free will itself is a tremendous act of love. The idea that God truly will allow a person to freely make a choice: 1) to be with God. Or 2) to be apart from God and honor that choice. Sting's song: If You Love Somebody Set Them Free comes to mind.

I do not do riddles.
Love takes two. If you think love is true love without reciprocity and a recipient enjoying it and returning it, then I pity you. One way love is called stalking.
If cupids arrow does not land in someone then the sender goes wanting.
As to my apotheosis, few believe in such things but I am always pleased to speak of it. Are you ready to believe in telepathy?

What makes you think you have a free will choice to not sin?
We all have a sin nature and that is why even your bible says that we are all sinners and even born sinners.
Free will is a gift from nature and not some God as it is a component of evolution. Cooperation is good as it does not produce a victim or loser. Competition is evil as it creates a loser or victim. You have to compete to survive and if you did not, your line would go extinct.
