It'd be a safe haven for animals.

What do you think about Autism?
In what context?

What is it like to have it?

I think everybody who has ever started off creating their own country had good intentions for their people but like that old saying goes "Absolute Power corrupts absolutely".

This is how I feel too.

I'd have a country not massively different than the "european socialist utopia" I'm living in - except there'd be high taxes on the finance sector, - high taxes in general - , and any sort of school teacher may only teach part-time and must have some life outside having gone to school, university, and back to school again. macroeconomy, programming and arts/aesthetics education would be emphasized.

alas, a country with teachers who have seen something besides school may be too utopian, even for the european socialist utopia I live in.

Why high taxes?

I would have an island country that is an empire with colonies. It would basically be if France or Scandinavia were island nations. It would just be another Atlantic Empire.

To get people to be politically interested and incolved, and to foster the sentiment that the state is theirs to use - After all, that's what they're paying for.

Also easier to blockade. If you go to war they'll try to starve you out like what they did to Japan.

I'd ban junkfood. I don't want my royal hospitals filled up with people who filled up their arteries with grease.

Yeah true. The Union also did the same thing to The South during the American Civil War.

I guess if you want to win a war the best tactic is always starving the innocent women and children to death and dropping an atomic bomb on civilians. Maybe even releasing a few chemical weapons and deadly diseases into towns and villages. :wtg:

Good idea. That could increase civilian war-weariness. They would become demoralised.

I would be having meltdowns and shutdowns all the time. Way too much multitasking for me.
