Trump supporters are largely poor , working class people in rural areas, that use to be represented by Democrats.

Millions of them voted for Obama, and they switched to Trump out of desperation.

Trump promised to end free trade deals, add tariffs, and stick it to the ruling class.

You seem to make fun of them. Laugh at them, like elite Democrats do, who want nothing to do with "dirty" poor working people. What's their solution? Vote Trump again , right?

I only see the left demanding everyone be like them, right just want no taxes. Which honest is not as bad as what the left ones, if I’ll have to side with one it’ll be the right anyday. You can thank yourself for that.

First off, I was raised in a working class household, and my dad grew up in a rural community where we still have relatives. So no, I don't denigrate any of those people simply for who they are or where they were born.
Many working people, and most poor people, in my neck of the woods despise Trump and see through his BS.
Incidentally, Trump has a long history of anti-union action, denying his own employees the right to bargain with management. It was organized labor that had allowed working people to ascend to the middle class, but business people like Trump had almost destroyed the union movement, making those working people regress back into poverty. Out of desperation, said working people listen to the right who have convinced many of them that their jobs are being taken by immigrants, and that the poor and minorities sponge off of their hard work, when in fact it's wealthy business elites like the Trumps who have been stealing the American dream from them.
Why did you assume I was talking about poor working people? As a matter of fact, far too many business people when asked what books they've read will invariably answer: "I haven't read a book in years." Trump doesn't read anything, and neither do his evil grown sons, or Kushner. Hell, Trump didn't even write his own book!
I will concede one point to you - - at one time, liberals had been rock solid supporters of working people, and vice versa. But taking the working American's vote for granted, liberals have paid less and less attention and respect to this part of their base, all the while embracing business elites like Republicans till that base started dwindling away. Democrats must reconnect with the American working class.

Take a breath and calm down. We're only having a discussion here. No one wants anyone to die.

why don't you want Richie rich to pay their fair share of taxes? you don't believe in that "trickle down" nonsense, do you? and you greatly understate what depredations the rich have for the rest of us, from denying us our rightful vote as fellow citizens, forcing women to carry unwanted fetuses to term, banning birth control for all but the wealthy [the way it was before Griswold versus Conneticutt 1965], forcing us to work 16 hour days [the way it was before unions], disallowing workers to form unions in the first place, outlawing LGBT et al.

I don’t beeive the government should pay for abortions that aren’t from rape or medically needed, especially as men don’t have a choice if they have a child or not they have to accept their actions wether they want to or not, equality means women do to, got pregnant from irresponsible sex well now you have a kid. Abortions isn’t birth control.
The right doesn’t want birth control banned.
Why doesn’t the left want male birth control? Why don’t they care about men. Or having a op out choice?
Left is all for forcing men to work or be locked up for kid they didn’t mean to or want to have saying they have to accept responsibility for their actions.

The party of love spews nothing but hate from what I’ve seen. I’ll probably vote all republican just to spite them.
I tried reasoning with them I tried asking them to see how what the bday is hateful and would hurt if said to them but they just say yeah I know and don’t care f**k your nazis.
How you all let your anger about polices turn into illogical hate i dont know but I’m done trying to be nice and reasonable to people who don’t care if they hurt someone that was a friend.

Hate pushes people to the other side not your side. I see very little reasons to support liberals or democrats anymore. Republicans are being for more logical and nicer currently.

I find it ironic people scream just leave me alone while demanding everyone do as then say. Maybe all the non liberals just want to be left alone?

Reasons to support liberals:
Social safety net.
Equal rights.
Making irresponsible fathers pay for their child's existence (Republicans are the party of personal responsibility, no?)
Birth control (Yes, there is a pro-life movement that calls birth control murder, too.)
Being able to love whoever you want in a consensual relationship, regardless of sexual orientation or race.
Pro-union. Say what you will, but I was raised in a union household, and my mom was able to stay home, and we enjoyed health coverage in our middle class life style.
I could go on and on, but I have to go to church.

One thing my Trump-supporting parents & I agree on: we need a multi-party system.

I tell you what needs to stop. People assuming they know what someone said or means and then attacking them for something they didn't even say or mean. Sending ricin is as bad as sending dud bombs. But this isn't a competition.

And for f**k's sake. I didn't want this thread to turn into another 'mah side are good yours are baddies'
