Those kids shouldn't have been wearing MAGA hats to begin with. Not that I want to censor them, but Trump's values do not align with Catholic teaching. Pope Francis said:

Me too. He gives me hope that the Catholic Church could actually progress and become a more modern institution, if there are more priests like him in it leading the way.

I liked John Paul II, too.

He saved a few people from the Nazis.

He was a college professor as well as a priest. He taught both secular and religious subjects.

Pope Francis is a pretty darn good Pope, too.

I remember it like yesterday when Pope John Paul II visited the UK in 1982 , I was standing at the side of the road waving like a crazy as he whizzed passed in his bullet proof pope mobile
