Locker rooms here are all open. There’s no changing stalls.

I think I’ve heard that the men’s locker room doesn’t have changing stalls at my local Y but the women’s locker room does. They might give more privacy in the women’s because more women come through with children.

That’s just a guess, though. I think there should be privacy for anyone that wants it.

I got in trouble for changing in the bathroom at school in 5th grade instead of in the locker room. I didn’t care. I thought it was a stupid rule that shouldn’t be followed.

Well...

We don't need 71 separate restrooms for each of the "71 different genders". That much is clear.

Male and female are scientific concepts. Men and woman on the other hand aren't.

While there may be differences between male brains and female brains, the issue with this is that her assertions about gender aren't automatically supported by this premise.

"Manhood" and "Womanhood" are social constructs. There is no consistency in how they are defined. It's all arbitrary. They only exist only insofar as how human beings in their circumstances choose to organize themselves.

I don't know. I'm just not a huge fan of this type of forced social engineering. Why create a solution when there isn't really a problem? It's nuts!

It might not be a problem for you since your gender aligns with your biological sex, but it’s a problem for a lot of people.

How exactly is it a problem? Is a gender fluid male uncomfortable with urinating or changing in a male facility? What about the woman who is uncomfortable with changing around biological males? Are their issues not to be taken into consideration?

Personally, I don't care one way or the other. I just feel that social changes should not be forced, via social or legislative pressure.

I wasn’t just referring to the problem of changing rooms.

Society is geared towards people adhering to specific gender norms. It’s hard being different. We on the spectrum should know something about that.

If I want to use the men's locker room, I should be able to. Besides, I'd be getting changed in a cubicle with a curtain.

Better yet, I'd find a handicapped washroom to change in.

I think that every public place should have gender neutral washrooms and if they don't, they'd better get on it.

Do you mean the current system where people are literally standing outside the women's room with guns threatening to arrest or even kill trans women who need to go pee? I think that's a pretty big problem.

I do believe there should still be separate bathrooms for men and women.

I do believe there are heterosexual guys who would take advantage of access to the ladies' room. It could happen.

If a "trans" man-to-woman wants to use the ladies' room, I see no problem with that.

But a cis-man (gay or straight). No way!
