I hated how much things changed (for the worse) when I started to become actual adult age. Technology is changing the very way we do things at such an exponentially increasing rate that I don't get to grow up and live with many of the services and business that used to exist for multiple generations. I honestly hate the conversion of everything from traditional and physical media to digital.
If I had the option I would travel back to no later than 1999 but I'll still be the same age and body I'm in at 2019. The future looks depressing giving a lot of the elements of trajectory we are on. This may well be just the beginning of collapse and potentially worse than the old Cold War era where we would actually f*** humanity over this time.
Tl;dr Depressing time to be a young adult with collapsing values and morality mixed with technology that will change us all.
I like the current time period and am glad that I wasn’t born during any other time. I like the internet, excellent healthcare, education, rights for women, greater rights for the LGBT community, and the list could go on and on.
Most things are getting better.
