Cenk Uygur on what progressives believe
Yes, it makes me feel anger when one stranger expects me to care about another stranger's opinions.

He’s a hardcore leftish and refuses to acknowledge genocide.
Your information is out of date (go to 3:33):

If he denies the Armenian Genocide, then he's in the same category as one who denies the Holocaust.
Not quite. Germans are not taught to deny the Holocaust. They are taught it happened and that it was wrong and that it should never happen again. So if somebody denies the Holocaust, that's on them.
However, in Turkey, students are taught to deny the Armenian genocide, and the government denies it as official policy. So the average Turk is an Armenian genocide denier. It doesn't make it right, but puts it in a different light.

1.) Expanding the circle of liberty and
2.) Equality of opportunity
Right-wingers like to say that progressives believe in equality of outcome, but that is not true. For example, in health care, you don't have opportunity if you're dead.
The progressives of the progressive era were the main instigators of eugenics. It was largely based on bigotry. A bad side Cenk conveniently forgot to mention.
Today the term progressive covers a wide range of people from what was called “liberal” in the 60’s and 70’s think Hubert Humphrey and Walter Mondale to Democratic Socialists and SJW’s.
Yup, they did. Keep in mind, though, that at the time such bigotry was extremely common. Cenk never argues that such progressives were perfect. He called the Founding Fathers progressives despite still holding slaves, for example, because they had mentioned we should keep "perfecting the Union". The circle of liberty gets bigger and bigger.
There is a move among certain progressives to cancel the founding fathers because of they were slave owners or use that as proof that America was founded racist and thus is inherently evilly racist. Saying that is just how it was is thought to be proof you are racist.
I know who you're talking about, but Cenk Uygur is not in that camp. Cenk and TYT have been quite critical of political correctness:
Good for him and them. While there is a lot of overlap and people in both camps Democratic socialists and SJW's parts of the progressive movement are not the same thing. One is economics/class focused the other is identity/intersectionality focused.

Actually, that Cenk faced the facts and overcame what he was taught as a kid, and came to accept and affirm the Armenian genocide makes him the exact opposite of a crackpot.

He walks a line and makes excuses I’ve yet to see him actually acknowledge it without some buts or other talk.
So maybe she’s a genocide excuser now instead of ignoring doesn’t make him any better.

Just rewatched the whole segment to try to see what part you're talking about. The closest I can find starts at 5:59, which starts with him saying "And to my Turkish friends", when he mentions the excuses many Turks give for denying the genocide, but I don't see any part where he excuses the genocide. He's addressing the Turkish-American community in this part.
At 3:56, Cenk Uygur makes this statement, without qualification: "The Armenian genocide happened. It existed. It's true. I don't know how I can be any clearer than that." Did you see that part?

No, dude. But you are this board's Infowars, with the way you misrepresent people's positions.

Ok I saw the video. Nice puff piece. I'm sure you could find video from a conservative speaker just like it talking about the great american values they represent, and how liberals have misrepresented them.
I don't doubt progressives intentions. I know a lot of liberals and a lot of progressives and they have lots of good intentions. I doubt specific policy initiatives they champion as being unrealistic, short-sighted, or just plain well-intended but wrong.
BTW Cenk's father getting a score on a test and getting to go to college for free is the same here. The University of Oklahoma will waive tuition, and give you a generous stipend for other expenses for all national merit finalists.
