In Finland, the max punishment is "whole life sentence", but the max of that is actually 12 years, so it's no whole life sentence at all. There have been quite a few people who've ended up in prison "for life", gotten out and then gotten there "for life" again.
This stuff is honestly one of the very few things that USA definitely has better than Finland. We need a
real whole life sentence here, too!
