But then again, that's just one example out of many countries that white people control one way or another so I guess I understand now.

I can see why they’re doing this, but I don’t think it’s good just to change definitions of words on people like this.

So why do you guys think Americans love to hate the Germans, Russians, and their Southern countrymen? I guess these particular white people make perfect scapegoats because they lost wars with other white people who want to believe that they are were somehow less evil?

SOME Americans may be that way, but not all of us.

I guess you're right, but I don't think there's any denying that Hollywood really has it out for these people. We're constantly reminded by these popular movies and TV shows that Germans are nazis (Indiana Jones or any World War era movie), Russians are commie spies and gangsters (Any James Bond movie or the John Wick movies), and southerners are racist slave-owning inbreds (Glory, Mississippi Burning, or those 'Psycho Cannibal Hillbilly' movies like Deliverence and Texas Chainsaw Massacere).

Why are Americans so obsessed with Nazis, rebels, the Royals, zombies, Trump and Global Warming? Because the effing Hollywood-based media keeps shoving these same effing things over and over into our faces, that's why!

They have run out of new ideas. Nazis in Captain America are now the Kree in Captain Marvel! Zombies in Night Of The Living Dead are now gun-toting robots in the Terminator movies. Nuclear Winter is now Global Warming. Nothing new, just the same old boogy-men re-written.

I tellya, it's enough to force me to take up reading books again!

Yes indeed! I think Hollywood is really just another American propoganda machine pushing a very pro-liberal agenda on everyone. through their overrated movies. I mean Hollywood has probably contributed the most to America's ignorance on history and what goes on in other countries (including our own country).

The prejudice + power thing is a definition of institutional racism used in some very niche sociology circles. It is not for general application.

Suggesting that a particular race cannot be the victim of racism is racist.

Whites were victims of racism in Zimbabwe. Under Mugabe, they were thrown off their farms just because they were white.

Mugabe was seeking revenge for the previous Apartheid governments in Rhodesia (which became Zimbabwe). He went about it the wrong way.

Asian Americans who believe in a meritocracy and the American dream are joining the Republican Party. The door is always open.

And yet you opened this thread saying one race cant be the victim of racism.

Hollywood was being used for propaganda, quite literally, after ww2. Part of the Marshall plan was that European cinemas, German ones more than others, had to show American films. America has exported the American dream across the globe.

I always find more and more things to despise about my own country.
