Honestly I see the Intermountain West (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, and Utah) seceding before the Midwest does. Having said that Alaska, California, and Texas have the best shots. The Intermountain West has the highest opinion of secession, have historical ties as a region (LDS/state of Desert), and have a unique culture compared to most the US. To me the Midwest and South are too entrenched in "American" culture to secede. However the further West you go there more there is a unique vibe to it.
