I'm sure his handlers prepped him as best they could, perhaps pumped him full of the right medications to get him through the debate. I was actually surprised he did so well. Still, he had a feeble, demented look in his eyes. I saw that same look in my father's eyes the last few years of his life. It's really elderly abuse at this point.

The acceptence speech and the town hall meeting were better arguments for he does not have dementia then the debate. Trump did not let Biden finish most sentences so little opportunity for "proof" either way.

Biden's not on a lofty intellectual plane-----but he's not a mental m***et, either.

I rather wish someone else was the nominee----but we have Biden, and he's better than Trump.

It would be better if the ticket was reversed, actually: Kamala Harris for President, Biden for VP.

Biden and his ilk are the reason Trump got elected. The wealthy, elite, political class who see the power of elected office as their right. The American people are tired of it from both Rs and Ds.

That was my thinking. We have had months of build up to the debates from Trump fans making out they would be Don's finest hour as he flourishes in that setting and how Biden can't string a sentence together due to 'cognitive decline'

From what I have seen there looked to be no difference at all between the 2 of them with regards to any 'cognitive decline'

While the debate was a real mess and there was no winner, I think the expectation was so low on Biden due to what has been pushed for months by Trump's team I think some people may come away with a different view of him on that side of things

Voting for an incompetent criminal sure showed them. Maybe next time they can be more literal about cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

Yes to both.

I am still voting for him, and only because he is not Trump.

But are you trusting him for dealing well with Putin and not pushing the button for the nukes instead of the one that calls his nurse? Is he able to always remember the right one within the next four years? 8O I don't trust him at all if it comes to this.
