This is what I heard so far from Team Trump ...

-Michigan secretary of state sent out 7.7 million absentee ballots to voters contrary to Michigan law, and without the approval of the Michigan legislature

-Georgia permitted mail-in ballots without ID verification, contrary to Georgia law

This is what I hear from every reputable source ...

-The election is over

-The voting was legitimate

-All 50 states and the district of Columbia have certified their ballots

-Joe Biden won

-There is nothing that "Team Trump" can do about it

I mean, states can sue other states, as there are sometimes real, valid reasons to do so. This, however, is not one of them.

Missouri on Wednesday led a group of 17 states in filing a brief that supported the Texas lawsuit, which alleges that the four key swing states that voted for President-elect Joe Biden violated the Constitution by having their judicial and executive branches make changes to their presidential elections rather than their legislatures.

But the Thursday filing led by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, which also includes Arkansas, Utah, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, would make those states parties before the court in the case rather than just outside voices weighing in.

It continued: "When non-legislative actors in other states encroach on the authority of the 'Legislature thereof' in that state to administer a presidential election, they threaten the liberty, not just of their own citizens, but of every citizen of the United States who casts a lawful ballot in that election – including the citizens of amici states."

I bet our AG is trying to take the focus off his securities fraud indictment.

Heard about that on a TYT video that played today. Further than that, they theorize that he’s doing it to kiss trump’s ass in hopes for a pardon for his alleged crimes. Makes sense to me.

As for the other states signing on.. either their leaders are crazy Or their leaders know all their voters are crazy so they feel obligated to sign on.. or both.

Trump pardoning himself won't mean too much if Trump is indicted and convicted of (New York or any other state) charges.

Michigan "at a loss" to explain why 174,384 absentee ballots cannot be tied to a registered voter in Wayne County.

The brief itself actually says "there is no way to associate the voter who used a particular application with his or her ballot after it is voted” -- not that Michigan is at a loss to explain why.

Of course they can't be tied to a registered voter. We have a tradition of secret ballots. That's why absentee/mail-in ballots are sent in double envelopes, with the signature outside the inner envelope.

There would be evidence of fraud if, for example, the total number of mail-in ballots were significantly greater than or less than the total number of signatures, or if someone were caught on videotape throwing out some ballots and replacing them with other ballots.

But an inability to know which ballot came from whom proves nothing. That's how the system is supposed to work.

The U.S. Supreme Court -- including the three justices appointed by President Donald Trump -- has denied Texas' request to even file the lawsuit challenging the 2020 election results, citing lack of standing.  The court says Texas does not have a "cognizable interest" in how other states conduct their own elections.
