While this is all true, one sad part is that these wannabe patriots think & actually believe that they're being patriotic when they pull this BS. Hopefully Canada just keeps the border closed for "Covid," reasons... Sadly, I think they're on the verge of reopening it due to pressure from the USA to get dollars flowing back and forth ASAP. :/

Those who participated in the coup attempt of January 6, and those who continue to insist the election was stolen, do not seem to think of themselves as domestic terrorists, but as patriots in the mold of Samuel Adams.

Speaking of a civil war, these folks that "don't recognize" our laws seem to be finding out that our laws don't recognize that.

This happened in Germany but it illustrates how both members of the military and police are heavily involved in far right movements/militia and how governments like the US cover up their involvement to avoid scaring the public as to how they literally have no control over their own police/defence forces political views.

Charlottesville, anti-BLM riots and the Capitol riots involved members of the military and the police force. Many of those involved evaded identification or arrest slipping quietly back into the community.
