Brother Juniper, who may become the patron saint for the autistic, that's if the Vatican doesn't have their way.

August 4

Today is the feast of Saint Sithney. Though he was originally from Cornwall, Saint Sithney emigrated to Guic-Sezni in Brittany where he founded a monastery. One day, Saint Sithney was having a conversation with God and God informed him that he had be chosen to be the patron saint of girls seeking husbands. Saint Sithney did not like this at all and told God right there and then that he would rather take care of mad dogs than women.

God thought this sounded like a good idea and gave Saint Sithney this patronage. Ever since then, sick or mad dogs have been given water from Saint Sithney’s well as a cure.
