Try again. Project list is also impressive.

Topics list

Yeah, and why do they have 2 whole sections, one dedicated to race and another to CRT??

CRT seems as important to MI as the environment, health and jobs which is absurd

Why is it absurd? Wow, two whole sections of it.

Tell us how much has the left's crt grifters banked as opposed to two whole sections.

C'mon, the average person is worried about jobs, cost of living, health and their children's education. CRT is a boogeyman.

BS, the parents need to know the education system is teaching racism to the children. If it's such a boogeyman, the left grifter have made a lot of coin, books, 1619 project, and created a Equity, Inclusion, and diversity industry.

If you are overlooking this blatant racism, then you may be a racist.

https://www.apa.org/news/podcasts/speak ... -privilege

According to Prof Brian Lowrey (who is an associate dean of the prestigious Stanford Business School)

"American society is structured in a way to hide white privilege that people benefit from. So you can see this in obvious ways, for example, segregation. Very few white folks in America actually have black friends. And many fewer live in circumstances where they see the disadvantages or the racial inequity in our system. So that segregation allows for people to be remain blind to their own advantages because they don't see the disadvantages that exist. They don't see the racial inequities. They blind themselves to the racial inequities simply by the way they go about their daily lives. They don't have to make a conscious choice to ignore it so much as it's hidden from them by the way the society is set up. So that's one way that you get herd invisibility. And then each individual act that white people engage in to deny or distance actually serves the broader white community, in that if I deny it exists and I create a narrative that it doesn't exist, then that serves you, even if you aren't actively denying it yourself."

So by ascribing identification of "white privilege" as a form of reverse racism is actually a form of denial that white privilege exists. This type of herd invisibility ironically works with disability as well. When people prefer not to see disabled people in public they can pretend disability does not exist.

Racial sensitivity training is standard because....drum roll.....it's evidence based. Big organisations want to maximise what they can get from a diverse workforce and creating a harmonious workplace starts with making sure there is no favouritism or elitism or discrimination leading to a drop in productivity which....hits the company's bottom line.

The APA the same people who gave us "evidenced-based" ABA, the same people who tells us traditional masculinity is toxic. Identity, being who you are, etc. are all beautiful unless it is disapproved. "Evidence-based" is great when it is not biased which the ablest, misandrist APA clearly is. As we see with ABA "Evidenced-based" consensus can be created when one view has a monopoly. If something becomes a monopoly it becomes difficult to get funding for research for "alternative" based treatments. If the prestigious organization decides something is right and you disagree you face peer pressure to conform. You have to go through multiple obstacles for your research that those agreeing with the professional organizations do not.

Businesses are there to make a profit. Getting rid of higher salaried older people is a way to do that. Guess which demographic is going to have more problems with "woke anti-racism" training?

I'm just saying in the list of priorities people have, the conspiracy of CRT in schools (and it's a tin-foil hat conspiracy) comes very low on the list of things parents should be worrying about. If there is any benefit, at least now some parents may actually be looking at their children's education a little more closely, otherwise they are just disrupting school board meetings.

ABA is evidence based but it's effectiveness is not consistent, That doesn't mean parents should avoid it?

You can't throw the baby with the bathwater, our entire lives are governed by using products/services built on evidence based results. You cant pick and choose what suits you and label some things you don't like "broke" because that's how you feel.

anti-racism training is a fact of life in the business landscape. People who are unable to withstand spending one hour listening to a seminar (nowadays this training is self-paced and online) are probably too much of a snowflake to be hired by the company. If you are hypersensitive about understanding social realities then you aren't capable of working effectively in a diverse environment to begin with.

They have a right, it's their children possibly being taught racism. You should read Rufo's piece on Portland's history. What is the prevalence, who knows the truth as you just have to guess somewhere in between the two. It gist is black and white, no gray area in the middle. Racism is wrong and will always exist as long as people overlook it. If it's a tin-foil hat conspiracy that you are wrong about, are you willing to overlook it? If not, then open your mind and go look at the numbers.

So there is a difference between teaching CRT and teaching racism.

1. CRT is taught in college level courses in the US.
2. Highschool students are taught history and social studies

In the case of school history/social studies curriculum it's unavoidable not to include racism because it was literally built into the constitution of the USA and manifests in 2022 as systemic inequality.

If I was an alien studying humans it was stick out to me like a needle in my eye. But for these parents they think that hiding under the banner of republican led anti-woke, anti-CRT agitators they think exposing their kids this aspect of history/social studies = CRT.

That they are ignorant is irrelevant. They equate existing education (including MLK and civil rights) as subversive,

Of course, you can pick or chose, we both live in free countries, nobody is putting a gun to our heads saying, comply or we are putting you in the denier jail.

Monopolies limit choices sometimes to the point that the choice is to comply with the consensus or get "othered". In America choosing not to give your kid ABA most often means insurance won't pay for your kid's therapy. As far as "woke training" goes it often means taking the courses or figuring out other means to feed your family. Most people will choose to take the courses.

I am not saying assume the "evidence-based" consensus is wrong. Respect the consensus, don't blindly follow it. As far as the anti vaxx people go I am a big-time sheepie. I am boosted, have supported many mandates. I have not supported the consensus of professionals mask mandates in schools since vaccinations became widely available for adults.

I mostly agree with you about this.

While CRT is not taught below the college level racism through the lens of CRT is taught especially at preppy elitist schools where the country's next leaders come from.

Those"anti woke" laws that have all but banned the teaching of racism because it makes the parents "uncomfortable" are engaging in cancel culture of the worst kind. They think they are ending wokeness, but they have created the wokeness plague by making it seem reasonable, and while they are making short-term gains they are increasing the chances of authoritarian wokeness long term success.

Yes of course. I am certain people of European origin will be uncomfortable with anti-racism training. I can't tell people how to feel. Most people don't think deeply about these issues and superficially it may hurt to hear some the language.

I am the same when it comes to listening to LGBTQI or women's issues compared with say the environment. I tend to not think as deeply on certain types of activism.

LGBTQI gained unthinkable acceptance because their activists used libertarian themes of it's our choice, and our choice does not threaten yours. The opposite approach of the wokes.

Interesting, So by being anti-woke thye might actually be spurring authorities to go further down the "cancel culture" road which means their actions are actually counter-productive to their cause.

Yes, for the LGBTQI advocacy the gays certainly have strong representation in the corridors of power and disproportionate influence on public policy. They had their 9-11 back in the 1980s with the AIDs virus and the loop has largely been closed with the marriage laws being codified.

What remains is religious schools and public opinion on things like gay and lesbian parades.

taste of doom? in Marx? CRT reheated Marxism?

I struggle to see any of the "workers of all nations unite and seize the means of production" in CRT.
AT&T isn't exactly advocating to disown shareholders, overthrow the board of executives and turn itself into a democratically self-governed worker-owned cooperative.
Where's the Marxism in this "reheated Marxism"?

He's echoing the old Mcarthyist doctrine that civil rights is a communist conspiracy
