Again, we're not talking about a rocket scientist.

So you're saying, it isn't only the intent to do such a thing that is required, but also the requisite knowledge of what is required to be done and of how to do it as well?

So, to perform this act would require both intent and planning...

Like any other Boomer you would think that he would remember Watergate being in the news. And would use a paper shreader -like all of the Watergate defendants did. But no.

In all fairness, I don't think anyone ever expected that such an insane idiot would sit in the White House who wouldn't preserve records as they should. Even Nixon had turned his tapes over to the government, so I guess it was taken for granted Presidents would be honest and sane.

Nixon was more than an idiot because he made a record of his crimes. If Trump didn't want to have records of what he was doing I guess he was smarter that way.

I'm saying Trump isn't the brightest light on the Christmas tree for thinking he'd get a different result after the first time he plugged up the toilet with papers.

Or maybe Nixon, amazingly enough, had even more respect for the law than Trump.

Ha, I'd forgotten all about that, he did b***h about low flow toilets at some point, didn't he? Man that would be just perfect if that was what ended up getting him in the end, a weird hybrid of a Freudian slip and a Kinsley gaffe.

That kinda seems to be a pattern with Trump and crazy scandals.

They always sound like they've gotta be hateful fan fiction when you first hear them, they're just too far-fetched but then there's always a few details that end up being corroborated and like, it's never enough to claim 'oh, well that's definitely proven' but it's always enough to push it back into the realm of 'well, it sounds crazy but reality isn't always realistic'.

Yes. And his Freudian slips are...contagious!

You just suggested that he will "get it in the end"! lol!

So youve caught his Freudian slip bug.

Okay - its not really "his end", but a device that accommodates one's posterior. But he seems to have used the thing for ...other ends!

Now Ive caught the bug too! 8O

He ate the documents, with a Big Mac.
Hours later they did go down the toilet after much grunting.
