The Biblical worldview
The Old Testament was written mostly by Bronze-Age literates who had little or no understanding of the Scientific Method. This limitation seems to have been inherited by modern-day biblical literalists and creationists for whom science is a demon-inspired cult unworthy of any serious consideration (nothing could be further from the Truth).
The New Testament was written mostly by tax collectors, lawyers, and philosophers of the Classical Greek schools.
The Bible itself, as a whole, was written to inspire moral behavior and obedience to the Judeo-Christian deity ("YVWH"), and not to teach history, science, or maths.
The writers of the Bible even implied the integer 3 as the correct value for Pi!
If you want to learn about Judeo-Christian cultural doctrine, then study the Bible. If you want to learn how the universe operates, then study the STEM courses.
