The Death Penalty Has Become My Morality Litmus Test
From what I've observed in the US, the judges seem to ride a certain wave of emotion when it comes to dishing out the death penalty. I am sure there is some "checklist" but from what I've seen depending on the state, jurisdiction, crime and judge there doesn't seem to be equal amount of justice metered out,
This is before we even get to the issue of wrongful convictions.
