Nonsense. The current calendar is filled with assumptions and guesses. The date of Christmas was adjusted to fit Saturnalia, the feast of Saturn which every one was celebrating. And the process of going back hundreds of years to set a start date for the new calendar was not based on certain knowledge. The year 1 did not start with the calculated birth of Christ, it started with the astronomical new year that probably fell sometime around when Jesus might have been born.
While Nero may have taken his throne in the year 54 (as calculated by a calendar invented much later), absolutely no one at the time used that calendar. If you are correct and this is the meaning of the prophecy, then it seems like a pretty useless prophecy because absolutely no one could have derrived any benefit from it.
