People attacking each other in politics. What do you think?

Pretty much. I never ARGUE with any of these 3. I'll sometimes give my opinion if it's asked for.

Other:

- Don't talk to smokers about smoking bans ("THEY'RE TAKING AWAY OUR RIGHTS!! !").

- Don't try to speak logically to a drunk person, they'll try to beat you up for it.

- Don't try to tell potheads that pot is bad for them in any sense. They will invoke obscure studies! in an attempt to prove to you that it is the only thing god ever did good for the world.

I think it is great for people to talk about politics. If people don't talk about politics then people become less informed.

If people discuss issues they learn more about political issues. Insulting someone for there political views is stupid, if you don't agree with someones political views you should explain why and discuss it. Then both of you will learn more and get a different perspective about the political issue you are talking about.

For example. Few people say in a thread Bush is the worst president we ever had but other people who don't agree attack those people. Those people can also say they're stupid for liking Bush and supporting him. See what I mean?

It doesn't make any sense because it doesn't get anywhere. I think it's real childish and lame.

I used to do the same but I don't think I have ever called anyone names to their face in politics. I realized last year thinking other people are stupid because of their political beliefs or opinions or attacking them and calling them names to their face is really stupid so I stopped. They can also think the same about me because I have different thoughts or opinions than they do so that's why I say it's stupid to attack people for their political beliefs, their opinions, and their views because it doesn't get anywhere.


I think people do not have to attack eachother, but they will always criticize. The best they can do is use constructive criticism instead of calling eachother stupid.
