same sex marriage, sure why not?

though homosexual people should stop complaining that they cant have Christian marriages, its like black people complaining that they cant join the kkk, its just plain stupid to be blunt. the concept of marriage is much older than Christianity and one does not need a Christian marriage to get married. instead of complaining that an organisation which is openly prejudiced against you is refusing to wed you why not just go for a pagan wedding or something? *shrugs*

Once gays and lesbians are no longer perceived as a true social outgroup, whether by themselves or their heterosexual peers, it will no longer be considered necessary for marriage to be restricted to heterosexual partners. This is just a consequence of human social behavior. They will not tolerate any sort of abuse or insult toward their own, no matter how minor. Once having realized this, I have seen no further purpose in pursuing gay marriage directly. Social acceptance is the more important and far-reaching initiative. Gay marriage is just an unavoidable consequence. Find it amusing if you must.

I am a member of the queer community and am active in the queer community at my university. I support same sex marriage, I believe that anyone in a committed relationship should be allowed to get married.
