Whats with all the "What religion is God" posts?

I find that these misotheists have the reading comprehension of a mule. Eisegesis seems to actually be their aim, since it is easier to refute what someone didn't mean rather than what they did.
Yes, it's true, and I think some of your posts have been like that as well, isn't it? which seems funny.
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
Matthew 7:3-5
"So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
John 8:7

On all standardized tests I've taken, my score for reading comprehension has been 95 to 99th percentile. Disagreeing with people doesn't mean I don't understand them, but people like fred seem to just not care what others say. Lack of attention or lack of interest in reality seems to plague militant atheists (or anyone else who is irrationally angry for that matter.)

Yes, I agree there, people who have faith in God and believe in him, are very likely to die peacefully a lot more than one who doesn't. I can't argue with that, no matter what their beliefs are, even if they differ from yours or mine. And sometimes it is something to envy.
I knew a person, and befriend him, like 3 years ago, he is Jehova's Witness, he uses wheelchair because of some desease, he can't walk, I am pretty sure he believes he will walk and run in Heaven, if that makes him happy, having that hope and being the reason to keep going, I am very glad for him, wether I believe it or not, sometimes envying him for having that conviction.

People who pose these questions dont care
They need affirmation that its OK to bash the father.
Deep down they have a bit of faith but it isnt enough.
OK whatever go to hell.. I have no problem with this.

Well, this doesn't seem to show so much following Jesus' teachings on loving your enemy, even though they might not really enemies, but I hope you get the point. Instead of condemning them to hell?

Ok, I see now the thing about Fred, didn't read his other posts that indicates trolling behaviour. Rather than calling him a misotheist, he seems to be mostly a troll, according to some of his posts, and I thought he was christian

WOW! If you really want to screw with this guy, tell him to read through the bible with looking for grammatical errors in mind. SO MANY contradictions. My favorite one is it is a sin to have fear, and it is also a sin to not have fear in God, so if you fear God, you are sinning, and if you do not fear God, you are sinning!
Did you know that the Bible was not originally written in English?
The words translated "fear" in various places in the Bible have several different meanings in the original languages.

And where did God come from? People always say that God is the Alpha and the Omega, and that he has been around always, and he was the beginning. But nothing can just be without something creating it.
Well then, what created the very first thing in the universe?
Nothing could have created it if it's really the very first thing that ever existed. Think about that.

And, where did God come from? People always say that God is the Alpha and the Omega, and that he has been around always, and he was the beginning. But nothing can just be without something creating it, so in theory, we should also be worshiping the creator of our creator for creating such a great creator. But then we will have to find out what came before that and so on! So I turn to things that are logical, I am an Atheist, and reject your false sense of reality you call Christianity.
You are taking things way too literally.
If nothing can just be without something creating it? Who created the universe? Who created the universe that created the universe that was before the universe?

NOO!?!? REALLY!?!? I thought the bible has always been written in English. That's what my pastor tells me. He says the truest bible is the KJV! The Lord revealed his Word in english, and that is truth!
What is true is that English does not have the beauty of many languages. That is to say there are different meanings and messages that are understood better and lost when translated into english.
