You are an idiot, Ragtime. I put down 'yes' because I am very angry at idiocy. Although I would love to burn some idiots, I do not like the way you pose a loaded question.

It is actually interesting to note that in fact hanging, drowning, and pressing were far more common executions for witchcraft than burning at the stake. In fact, only a few witches were burned in England. Most were hung.

It is people like you, who inflict their opinions on others without remorse, that I hate. Even the aforementioned 'lynchee', if it is who I think it is, I still have some respect for his intelligence. But you have none of mine, as you are a fool, a liar, and a consummate manipulator.

It's killing me. Who are we talking about? I have a guess but damn that's not good enough for me...

Really though, Ragtime, while commenting on the *ahem* etiquette of this forum is not necessarily a bad thing, this thread just doesn't strike me as a bud about to blossom into intelligent discussion.

Well the thread I saw Ragtime post this sentiment on was one of the gender/sexuality threads currently active and he did say it was Oscuria who was being 'lynched'.

I don't see it as anything near a lynching, but rather some people who say things like what has been mentioned here because they are frustrated.

I have not gotten the feeling these individuals were serious about killing anyone here, it's just expressions from a very emotional position which Oscuria correctly called in at least one of these threads.

This is why I tend to keep from getting emotional about the arguments here online.
I don't care for unfounded personal attacks either.

From what I see, the bait is thrown out and some people make a grab at it with every emotion they can feel.
I don't take the comments I've seen in these threads so far concerning killing people like Oscuria, seriously though. But I do think they are in poor taste and represent a poor addition to the arguments people discuss here.

But.. if Ragtime REALLY wants a lynching... ... I think we shouldn't concentrate on the liberal vs conservative angle... there many more interesting ones out there

I don't know but based on my observation I believe Ragtime , parakeet and oscuria are the ones who still live in the 'witch burning' age.
