^^ I agree. Hillary knows the situation and the fears people have over Obama running for president. For her to say that is just incredibly stupid and bitchy to say the least. lol

I thought that she was just giving an example of another nomination that went on for a long time. I didn't think she was talking about Obama being assassinated. Is there something I'm missing here?

it's an interesting situation. you could take it as that she's very calculated and mentioned it in a matter-of-fact manner to subtly suggest that she's either hoping he gets assassinated or maybe discourage as much confidence in obama. it could simply be that she's stating an innocuous fact about the late primary.

the cynicism that she spawns with regards to her motives and intentions leads most to pick the former. mainly because she has engaged in such tactics before....even playing the race card and somehow implying that because bill is blacker than obama that she's the black candidate. she also has used fear tactics with 9/11 but not to the extent that rudy did. her campaign has been very much populous actions and fear-mongering along with trying to portray herself as a minority while going against another minority.

really, the bottom line is that her policies are almost exactly the same as bush's but with more obvious socialistic tendencies. obama is slightly different on foreign policy but in the end, he represents no real change in foreign policy on a whole. there is no candidate who represents a positive change. it's annoying...even the libertarians picked a garbage candidate (bob barr sucks).

Seriously. What the hell were they doing? And Root as VP? Sheesh. They should have just nominated Paul like they wanted to, even if he wasn't seeking their nomination.

mike gravel would have been a much better choice. bob barr's voting record doesn't even start to approach a libertarian record!! !

That would have been a smart move -- get votes, raise awareness of the party, etc.

Hillary makes Lady Macbeth look like a Girl Scout. At least Lady M was driven mad by her conscious. Hillary has none. A political whore married to another whore. The woman will say and do absolutely anything to get elected and can't understand why people are against her!

How was Gravel the best choice? Of the pack of losers competing for their nomination, I probably would have gone for Kubby. Right now, sadly, it looks like the closest we've got to Paul is Chuck Baldwin from Constitution Party, but I'm a bit wary of some of his views (I think he buys into the mercury-autism nonsense for one thing).

from what i saw, paul's biggest problem was that he was too nice and courteous and when people would question him, he always came off as apologetic. that and the majority of print media coverage on him took jabs at him in the wording.

I just don't know why she said it in the first place, I mean it was completely unrelated to the rest of the conversation . 8O
